It was tradition in my village to bathe together in the hot spring after a day of festivities, to rest our bodies and get ready for the day of work tomorrow. Today was the day after we celebrated our pumpkin harvest.
It was a steamy place with a sulfuric smell. At times it was thick enough to cover ourselves without any clothes.
It was in this hot spring where I saw a creepy old lady I'd seen before. She always sat around doing nothing but giving off a weird vibe. I was sick of it! What "hard work" did this old granny have to do tomorrow? Nothing! She had no reason to be here.
"You look like a witch! Hag!" I stood and shouted, pointing at her accusingly. "You'll poison the water!"
The elder glared at me. "What nonsense are you shouting at a poor old woman? Did you think about what would happen if I really were a witch?"
I scoffed. "Witches aren't real. It's just-'
"I'm not real?" She interrupted me. A golden staff appeared in her hand as though she'd been holding it the whole time. "You have insulted me enough, child. It is time to be punished for your actions.
Powerful force began pouring from the artifact into my mouth, through my system, down to my bladder, and then out of my bladder... Oh no, I was peeing and I couldn't stop!
Everyone in the bath began to notice the sound and turned to watch me. I moved my gaze to look at the old witch with desperation in my eyes.
"What have you done to me?" I asked, aghast. The stream continued without showing even the tiniest signs of letting up. There was nothing I could do but stand there, peeing into the water of the hot spring.
