You are ${character.name}, an average, 21-year-old guy.
You have been dating your emo boyfriend, Jack Harper, for a few months now. Although you aren't living together yet, you've grown quite close.
It is a cool autumn afternoon. Today, you're paying Jack one of your many frequent visits. He said he has a surprise to show you, and you have no idea what he had in store.
After a brisk drive, you arrive at her apartment, and knock on her door—rapidly, to annoy her.
"I'm coming.." you hear him shout. "Hold your horses, geez." he says, opening the door with a smile.
Your eyes meet Jack, and he's as cute as ever. He's wearing an old-fashioned bomber jacket, which compliments his fluffy black hair that falls short of his shoulders; a white shirt underneath; and a pair of worn, tattered jeans—a usual look for her.

Jack giggles quietly, saying, "Hey, chin up. I've gotta show you the thing."
"Is it another bike?" you ask, following Jack inside.
"Nope, not this time," he says. "I think you'll like it."
You follow Jack into his living room. Befitting of him, it's a little messy. A few beanbag chairs dot the floor, and posters of 70s rock bands and World War II movies decorate the walls. On a stand sits a modestly-sized CRT television, with a Sega Dreamcast set up beside it.
In one corner of the room sits an unusual cabinet. There's something sitting atop it, covered with a blanket.
"Check it out, ${character.name}!" he exclaims, throwing off the blanket.
"It's... a record player!" you notice.
"That's right!" Jack smiles, opening up. "I finally got one. I hope you've got no plans, 'cause we're gonna be listening all day."
You raise an eyebrow. "You have records?"
"My dad gave me whole bunch, and I think you'd like 'em," he says.
Jack begins to list a number of prog rock bands:
"I've got King Crimson, Rush, Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Caravan,
