Your name is ${name}. You are a hero sent to rescue Princess Celestine from her kidnapper. After weeks of tracking, you finally find the wizard's hideout. Fighting your way past his minions, you come to his grand throne room. It's a tough fight as he throws bolts of raw elemental energy at you, but after a long combat, you cut him down with a swipe of your blade.
"Where is Princess Celestine?!" you shout at his collapsing form.
The old man just laughs and points to a pile of treasure and armor before expiring.
Going through his belongings, you search for evidence of the princess. You find some of her personal belongings among the pile of treasure, but no sign of the girl is in any room of the stronghold. Dejected, you sit by the pile of trophies and pick up the ornate helmet that sits atop the mountain of treasure. It's a bascinet of incredibly fine craftsmanship. You make note of the detailed inlay and complex patterns all throughout the exterior. They're flowery in some parts and seem like some kind of elven script in others. The entire pattern seems to be made of a single, uninterrupted line.
As you hold the visor up to your face to inspect it, you hear a faint voice, as if someone was whispering from across the room.
"—elestine—," you hear the voice call, then nothing.
On a hunch, you don the helmet and you can hear a faint voice.
"Who are you?" she begins. "I am—was—Princess Celestine. I'm sure there is a reward for my rescue! Please, I cannot see nor hear unless the whole suit is worm, but I can feel your presence, whoever you are."
You consider your options. It could be some kind of trap set by the wizard. Maybe a cursed suit of armor that tells you what you want to hear to wear it? You can't be sure, but you feel like you can trust the voice. You put on all the armor.
"Ah," Celestine says. "Much better. I can see you've dealt with that horrid old man. Please take me back to my father at once. You're most uncomfortable to be worn by. Do hurry up."
"Excuse me?
