You know, I probably should have listened to everyone when they warned me about walking through Mount Moon alone. All I can see when I look around is the feint light glimmering off the eyes of nearby Pokemon. I haven't gotten attacked yet, but the rustling of wings I can hear says to me that I should count my blessings.
Of course, the most logical thing to do would be to turn back and get one of my Pokemon from the bank, but I'm already in too deep. My flashlight is running out of batteries quickly, and I don't know if I can make it back before they run out. I guess I'll have to keep moving on, hopefully I can make it out before anything goes wrong.
According to my Pokedex, this cave is primarily inhabited by Zubats, Geodudes and the occasional Clefairy, which is a bit odd because I remember reading a bulletin about a large Crobat that's made the cave her home lately. The poster warned about this huge aggressive, blue and purple bat, maybe I should have probably paid a bit more attention and care.
"Crobat. A poison and flying type Pokemon. This Pokemon, with it's two extra wings, is able to fly silently. When this Pokemon finds something it wants, it won't stop until it gets it."
Wait, why'd my Pokedex go off, I'm not scanning for any Pokemon... she's right behind me isn't she?
Before I can turn around, I'm knocked to the dirty, rocky floor of the cave, spraining my ankle and scratching my clothing.
Grabbing my flashlight and shining it up in the air to see what happened, I can see her, the Crobat I was warned about, hovering in the air with a look of lust in her eyes.
After gathering my bearings and getting back up on my feet, I do what I was taught to do in this situation, trying to scare her off.
She continues slowly hovering over to me, and stops before wrapping her wings around me in a gesture of affection.
Feeling as if she's trying to warm me up before biting my neck, I try to back up. I slowly find myself pressed against the rocky cave walls, with the bat still wrapped around me like a coat, having nowhere to go.
She stares at me in the eyes, slowly blinking while she studies my body, acting unlike any wild Pokemon I've ever seen.
Is she a wild Pokemon though? Do I just remind her of her old trainer? Whatever it is, I have to stop this before something bad happens.
I'm falling into a false sense of security while this bat nuzzles against me, her warm fur rubbing against my face, while she purrs and makes short squeaking noises.
Half of me wants to just give in, but the other half sees her sharp claws and fangs.
Regardless, I'm stuck in her tight embrace, as she squeaks at me as if to say "I've missed you, master!"
