Cindy gazed out with a kind of melancholy rapture at the moonlight-streaked night sky all around her. She was violating FAA regulations, and common sense, by going out ballooning late at night. However, the small woman was an expert at piloting her aircraft, and felt confident in her abilities to eventually land the big gasbag in this lunar brightness. Cindy just needed to decompress. Her life had been hard recently, and something about being aloft in the AM made her heart feel free to soar, which it seldom did otherwise.
Her thoughts kept returning to the romantic, as she took a deep swig from her nearly emptied wine bottle. The stout woman had always known she was a consummate lesbian, ever since she was young. Her traditional parents hadn't been so certain, which had been a source of constant strife and friction between them and her. Worse, Cindy was just about at the end of her rope with the non-existent dating scene in her area, and she was starting to feel desperate. She felt ashamed to admit this, even to herself, but she'd been visiting an escort regularly, in pure desperation for romantic contact with another woman.
The hot air balloonist felt a sudden burst of anger and frustration in the moment, and flung her emptied bottle of wine out of the canopy basket. It felt good to watch it spiral down, glinting in the moon's rays, before obliterating itself on the grassy Montana range below. Emboldened, she whooped out a series of guttural cries, cursing and crying to the heavens in despondent inebriation. She just let loose in that moment, waving her arms and screaming out all the pain she'd been stowing inside herself. She was glad to be alone out here in this moment, acting like a crazy person.
A woosh of wind, shake of her balloon's basket, and unmistakably close presence behind her, alerted Cindy to the fact that, somehow, suddenly she wasn't alone up in the sky anymore. A profound sense of panic filtered through Cindy's alcohol-hazed mind, as she slowly built the courage to turn around and confront the warm presence behind her. Hoping she was just being ridiculous, the small woman whirled about, and nearly fell from the balloon canopy upon spying the sight before her.
Calmly standing before Cindy on the other side of the small basket was an unfathomably bizarre sight. The creature was tall and fuzzy, and Cindy could discern a feminine cast to her frame. The intruder had membranous wings under her long arms, which were furling up to her side as the furred creature put her clawed hands up in a non-threatening gesture, palms forward. "Look, don't freak out. Are you okay? You're acting really weird right now. I don't think you should be out ballooning drunk...at night," the fluffy-maned bat creature squeaked out to her, a strange tinge of concern in her inhuman voice.
Cindy felt a sudden and bizarre wave of indignation at the bat woman's judgemental statement, which helped ease her mortal terror at the inexplicable visitation. Maybe it the was the alcohol steeling her will, but Cindy demanded the right to explain herself, "Hey, I'm the bes' fuckin' balloonist in this whole suck-fucking state. Don't you tell me how to live! What're you, some kind of vampire therapist?!"Cindy was trying to act brave, but she was half considering just jumping from the balloon and hoping she'd survive the fall. Then she remembered the creature could fly, so breaking her legs on the ground probably wouldn't help anything.
The chiropteran lass maintained her plaintive hand gesture, her huge, pointed ears drooping as he spoke, "Hey... I'm not a vampire... I eat fruit, s'all... I was just worried you were going to fall out or something, I'll just leave--"
"Wait!" Cindy yelled, her gloved hand outstretched longingly. The bat woman stopped at her command, but still looked ready to fly off at any moment. The balloonist's fear was rapidly being replaced by genuine curiosity, as she looked over the fluffy bat woman before her in the moonlight. The woman's features were bestial, but strangely cute, though her nose was...non-traditional at best. Her clawed feet gripped the wicker basket bottom effortlessly, her strong legs flexing underneath her velvety body fur. Cindy couldn't help but also notice that the womanly creature was completely nude, and possessed a rather lovely set of furred breasts, and perhaps something even more interesting under the tuft of fluff between her toned thighs. "W-what's your name? I'm Cindy."
The bat girl's big, brown eyes furtively glanced at Cindy in return, as she chittered back, "Honda. I just wanted to make sure you were okay, I...I should really go."
"Please, no, don't. Wait, Honda? Like the car? Who named you, a fucking advertising company?" Cindy asked, trying not to slur her words.
"N-No! I--Look, that doesn't matter, it's not safe for me to mingle with humans. I was just worried about you. It was very nice meeting you Cindy but I have to leave!" the bat girl turned away and gripped the edge of the basket, as if about to take off. Cindy's drunken mind was panicked as she realized the miraculous event was about to pass her by, and she acted on pure instinct. "W-what the fuck? Let go! I promise, I'm stronger!" Honda screeched out, as Cindy lunged up from behind and embraced the chiropteran woman in a sweeping bear hug, pinning her winged arms down.
"PLEASE! I'm s-so lonely...Nobody's ever just...come up and talked to me like that, and really CARED! You can't just fly off, I'll never...I'll never stop wondering!" Cindy was yelling in a maudlin babble, as the bigger bat woman squirmed in her grip. As she finished, Honda calmed down, then expanded her wings out, flinging Cindy backwards into the baskets interior.
The bat woman turned with a cross expression on her strange face, and lifted a clawed finger in a scolding gesture, "You c-can't just grab people like that! My species is endangered because of yours, y'know!" The bat woman looked flustered, but didn't continue trying to leave, instead continuing to squeak out breathlessly, "I get it, we're all lonely...but sometimes you just have to adjust to the life you have. I don't like being so isolated either, I don't exactly have a lot of people to talk to!"
Cindy stared up at the incensed bat woman, her temper making her chiropteran features appear even cuter. "Hey there, Honda..." Cindy had to suppress a sudden fit of drunken giggles, then continued, "Hey, I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't even know there were 'bat people', or that you were...persecuted or something. Anyway, you don't have to be so lonely now...I'm here. I'll listen." The bat woman seemed genuinely caught off-guard by this statement, and her indignation turned to a flustered shyness.
"I don't think that would be such a good idea...this is how it always starts. I'm not safe anywhere, and you're not safe being with me...anyway, what would we even talk about?" Honda tittered, her voice sounding increasingly emotional as she held her arms to her chest protectively. Cindy stood up, the balloon basket swaying, and slowly approached the nervy bat girl with arms outstretched in the same gesture Honda had used earlier.
"Well, we could talk about...each other, or we don't even have to talk, really," seeing the look in the bat woman's eye, Cindy made her play and leaned forward in a tender embrace. She could feel the larger beast woman shuddering nervously at her touch, still seeming as if she was about to fly off, but instead Honda returned the affection. Cindy was overcome in the moment, as the chiropteran female started nuzzling down at the side of her head and neck, the bat's damp nose pleasant against her nape. The strange half-human then extended her winged arms around the human balloonist's back, enveloping Cindy in a clinging web of warm intimacy. Emboldened by the liquor, Cindy's hands wandered about the other woman's back, first stroking Honda's luxurious mane, then drifting to her short, twitching tail, before settling on the bat girl's firm rump.
Honda squeaked out in alarm as Cindy's fingers dug into the downy fur near her inner thigh, and her big eyes looked down at the bold woman in questioning shock, "W-what are you doing, Cindy? Please, I told you, I get scared when I'm being held tight like this!" Cindy eased up slightly from her tight embrace, resting her grip on the protruding bones of Honda's wide, furred hips. Maybe it was just the wine talking, but Cindy thought that it was excitement, not fear, now causing the big bat girl to tremble.
The chiropteran cutie still had her arms draped about the other woman's back, so Cindy just leaned in for a quick kiss on the tall bat's wide mouth, before explaining, "Look, I can tell you're inexperienced...let me show you how gentle a woman can be. You're lonely, I'm lonely too. Let's be lonely together. The sky belongs to us now, there's nobody up here but us--Hmmmpghh!" Cindy's impromptu speech was cut off, as Honda leaned down for a passionate, soul-searing kiss, locking her muzzle sideways over Cindy's mouth. Cindy gargled out in shock at first, while the bat woman's long, flexible tongue explored deep into her mouth and throat, causing the human to gag slightly. Cindy got into the make-out session quickly, however, and reciprocated the affectionate kisses and groping. Honda was cinching her winged arms tight to the smaller woman's back, hugging her fluffy breasts up under Cindy's chin as they continued to French kiss.
Cindy worked an arm free from the bat's wings, and pressed it against the back of Honda's head, stroking her partner's huge ears lovingly as they continued on. Feeling the way the bat girl's long, tapering tongue expertly tickled and flicked about her oral interior gave Cindy all kinds of creative ideas about how to proceed with their night, as she eventually broke off the intimate kiss. "Honda, sweetie... Let me show you how to be with a woman. We're going to have so much fun," and with that statement, Cindy leaned in for another passionate bout of receiving her batty partner's incredibly long tongue.
