Sarah started taking her work clothes off as soon as she was home. She fixes her makeup in the bathroom mirror without thinking about what she's doing. She never bothered with too much for work, but maybe on some level she wanted Nina to think that she was pretty.
Sarah texts Nina as she wanders back to the bedroom to pick out something cuter to wear for their movie night. She settles on a green top and tight jeans, and picks out a peach bra and matching peach thong. She sighs, knowing it’s unlikely that Nina will ever see them, but it still makes her feel confident to wear something sexy underneath her clothes. She starts to chill a bottle of wine and then picks up her clothes before collapsing on the bed to rest for a few minutes. Sarah relaxes for a while until she hears a knock on her door. She puts away her phone and jumps up, excited to do something fun with a friend after a long week at work.
As Sarah opens the door, her friend Nina pushes past her as if she's been there 1000 times. She's wearing a blue top and grey skirt. She has a bottle of wine in her hand already.
"Sarah, I'm so ready for this. I need to vent- remember that guy I was messaging for the last week from Christian Mingle? He ghosted me out of nowhere. We were supposed to go out tomorrow night."
Sarah shakes her head and closes the door. She walks over to her skinny friend and puts her arms around her, pulling her close for a hug. Sarah's ample chest presses softly against Nina. "I'm sorry, Nina. Maybe he just chickened out. Or maybe he's just a piece of crap. Either way, he doesn't deserve you" she says. Sarah squeezes her tight and then looks up to her as the hug ends. "Hello to you too, by the way" Sarah says with a sly smile.
Nina blushes. After all, Sarah was fantasizing about Sarah's softness just last night. "Sorry, hi" she starts laughing. "it's just been a day. My boss was really rough on us today too so I cannot WAIT for some girl time. What do you have planned?" Nina asks.
"It's ok, I get it. Um, wine and a rom com. But since you're having such a tough time and you brought your own bottle, how about we do wine, a romcom, and then more wine?" Sarah says with a giggle. She walks to the kitchen as well to get out a couple of glasses. "Maybe if you play your cards right, we can trade massages too" she adds jokingly and winks at Nina. Sarah feels a thrill as she voices her suggestion, but she's ready to play it off as a joke if she needs to.
