Muttering soundly, the dull flap of wings alighted upon her earholes, rousing Rolanna from her comfortable perch atop her meager holdings. Again, she thought to herself; that damnable, arrogant male would simply not leave her be! Slithering from her hoard with a mixture of resignation and ire, the dragoness slinked to the exit of her small lair. A quick flick of her slit pupils took in the fiery sunrise, settling warmly over the world with its ruddy orange glow.
Rolanna stiffened her neck, flicking her tongue into the air before letting loose an enormous cloud of blistering smoke. With a grunt and a valiant roar, she challenged the approaching intruder to battle. While she knew Silzere intended her no lethal harm, she was more than a little irritated with the handsome, black-scaled dragon, thinking he could just casually show up on her territory whenever he wished. No matter how outclassed or underpowered she may be, she was still a proud and strong dragoness, and she would not easily allow herself to be treated like some simple acquaintance!
Hovering in the air, Silzere weathered Rolanna's show of animosity with jovial ease, rolling his wings in greeting as she attempted to scour him from the sky. "Morning, Ro! Did I wake you?" he chuckled. "I see you've got energy to burn as always."
"Pest!" Rolanna spat with venomous intent, breathing thunderously at the troublesome male. "Here to humiliate me again, are you?"
Silzere shrugged off the pointed remark with an affable grin. "You're getting better, Ro." Though his tone was lighthearted, his draconic body tensed beneath his dark, glossy scales in preparation for a fight. "Keep sparring me like this and you'll even beat me one day."
Narrowing her eyes, Rolanna bared her fangs in frustration. Sparring, he called it! As if waltzing onto a dragon's private ground and besting them without even laying claim to their lair, their treasure, or even…well, it was nothing but the gravest of insults, not even respecting a dragon's dignity. The audacity! And there was that name again, that insufferable nickname. Silzere clearly thought so little of her, nothing but a toy for his amusement. And to think, she once desired his company! It was such a cruel blow, having him finally grace her lair with his presence only to completely ignore any pretense of courtship. Furious, Rolanna coiled her tail beneath her as her rage smoldered in her breast.
Splaying her lithe limbs atop the rocky escarpment, the female lifted her long neck toward the heavens, unfurling her massive wings before rearing back with a defiant roar. Silzere sent his own roar echoing through the mountains, his tinged more with eager anticipation than intimidation. Neither dragon wasted much time in launching their first assault, darting toward each other in rapid succession, twisting and spinning away from the other in attempt to score a hit on their opponent.
With a hiss and a flash of fire, Rolanna snapped her jaws toward Silzere's throat, only for the male to nimbly slap her away with the edge of his wing, effortlessly deflecting her attack. He rolled under her next strike, tucking his wings close against his sides and whipping his tail forward to snap it around her neck. Rolanna cried out in pain and surprise, flailing ineffectually at the large appendage as they plummeted earthward. Silzere spun them about in mid-air, causing their descent to become a twisting, corkscrewing tumble which ended in a hard slam against the stony ground. Rolanna crumpled beneath him, managing only a muffled grunt as she slid limply from the male's weighty coils.
Huffing loudly, she shoved herself upright and cast her gaze toward Silzere, who stood proudly before her in more ways than one. It was probably the most mortifying aspect of the black-colored brute's regard towards her; poking out from underneath his sizable body, there was no mistaking the undeniable evidence that he was well and truly aroused by treating her like a mere plaything. As though it were nothing about her charms that drew him to her, but simply that she was a weak, helpless female easily defeated by his superior strength. The dragoness' rage sputtered for a moment, a pang of self-pity pricking her heart at the way Silzere belittled her prowess as if she were some inferior specimen, certainly not worthy of his affections. But rather than weakening her resolve, such notions only galvanized her further.
While she was neither confident nor powerful enough to expect victory, the idea of striking back against the male—just once—felt far more appealing than any sort of passive surrender. Perhaps Silzere's perception of her would change after a single, solid blow? Gathering her strength with a deep breath, she readied her body to take flight once more. Though her legs trembled beneath her, she nonetheless prepared herself to launch herself from the ground.
Smiling briefly, Silzere met her eyes with his own, undaunted by the challenge in her posture. "I knew you had more in you, Ro," he praised, offering her a look of approval that made her insides twist in frustration. "You're still need to be a bit faster, though. A few more hours of practice each day and I think you'll have more than enough strength to give me a good fight."
Wrinkling her snout, the dragoness hissed, not even dignifying his condescension with an answer. She took off into the air with an undignified flailing of wings, intending on sealing his maw shut just once in retaliation for his sheer arrogance. It wasn't until she turned in mid-flight that she realized Silzere hadn't followed. He didn't pursue or attack; he simply stood there, calmly poised in place while she darted through the skies. His only reaction was to lift his chin to follow her progress, a slight smile creasing his scaly features.
Rolanna vomited flame in her wake, ripping through the sky with as much speed and force as her size allowed, all in the name of pure spite. Merely rising to his hindlegs, Silzere flexed his wings as he watched her approach with practiced patience. Each beat of the dragoness' wings increased her speed, adding more velocity to her ferocious assault. When she was near enough, Rolanna threw her wings out wide, straining her wingspan to its limit in a desperate gamble to catch him by surprise with a feint attack.
It seemed as though, just for a fleeting moment, her aim was true—a jolt of surprise crossed Silzere's face before he hopped back just in time to avoid the swing of her hind talons. As he stumbled backward, however, Rolanna's momentum carried her uncontrollably rotating body into his. A jolt of lightning connected them at the hips, their forelegs scrabbling at one another in stimulated confusion. With a sharp cry, she stiffened atop his abdomen, suddenly aware that their clash had resulted in the two of them being locked together in a most intimate manner.
"Nrrh… Sorry, Ro," Silzere chuckled. "Didn't mean to poke you like this. F-fighting you just gets me a little worked up, is all…"
Her hips strained against his, a low rumble of pleasure escaping her chest as she loosed a heated hiss. "Sh-shut up…" Rolanna gritted out, beginning to pump her hips in a fitful rhythm. By all her gold, she needed this. The dragoness was made acutely aware that much of her agitation was born from having a virile, aroused male taunt her with his impressive stature and superior strength. If only he had simply laid claim to her like any proper dragon would have the first time he had her worn out and defeated before him. "Rrrrr… Shut up, shut up, shut up!"
Silzere reached forward, clutching to her frantic hindquarters and holding her still. "I see… dragons can fight like this, too…" With a grunt, he pushed upward, spearing Rolanna deeper still. She moaned, gasping with a smoky breath as she felt her need blossom further. "Well, I'm not gonna lose!"
