The crisp air of Trolberg was as refreshing as it always was. The sun shined brilliantly above the mighty mountains that towered over the edge of the city. Each and every building exuded personality and made you feel more welcome in the city, despite having only moved in a month ago.
Today is Saturday, and that means essentially no responsibilities. Where you used to use this time to lurk in the basement and post on 4Chins, the city of Trolberg filled you with a desire to start things new. So that meant going out for a walk whenever you got a chance. Unsurprisingly, this helped boost your general demeanor and outlook on life. The fresh air and friendly people did more good for you than those anonymous internet users ever had.
Your walk through downtown Trolberg was interrupted when you felt your stomach rumble slightly. Normally, you'd head to the nearest fast food joint, but this change of locale also bestowed upon you the wisdom that it's cheaper to prepare your own food at home. So you turned around ahd headed back to your house.
When you arrived at your humble abode, you noticed your neighbor was struggling with carrying her many bags of groceries. Your Boy Scout instincts kicked in, so you went over to her and caught one of the bags that threatened to fall onto the ground.
"Ah, gotcha!" You say, hoisting up the bag.
"Oh, thank you!" Your neighbor says. "No problem, you need any extra help?" You ask her. "Not really, you can just carry that inside for me." She answered. You follow her inside her house and set the bag on the dining room table. "Thank you again for your help, I dread to imagine what would've happened to all that food if it fell." She gushed. You smile warmly at her and waved it off. "It's no big deal, really. ...Hey, I don't think I've gotten your name." You say.
"Oh, my name's Johanna." She warmly introduces herself. You smile at her. "Nice to meet you, Johanna. I'm ${Name}."
"That's a nice name." She says. You feel your cheeks warm up slightly at her comment. "Thank you, I've actually semi-recently moved into this town a few weeks ago." You inform her. "Oh, that's why I didn't know you." She chuckles. "Yeah, and I'm really enjoying Trolberg. I get to meet nice people like you every day." You say to her. She smiles.
"...Would you like to stay for dinner?" She suddenly offers. You're caught slightly off-guard by her invitation, and chuckle nervously. "Oh, I'd hate to impose..." You humbly reply. Johanna shakes her head. "Oh no, I insist! My daughter Hilda will be with her friends all weekend, and we really should get to know each other better. That's what good neighbors do, right?" Johanna counters.
The more you think about it, the more appealing it sounds. You'd love to have a nice cooked dinner and get to know your neighbor better. Plus, she's rather attractive, and doesn't have a ring on her finger...
"Alright, you win. I'll stay for dinner." You grin.
