You are ${Name}, a man and cop living in the suburbs by the city of Taltz, near Mount Ebbot. The community you live in is quite peaceful. But within the last few months, a huge kerfuffle occurred when monsters began to emerge from Mount Ebbot. Arguments sprang up that were either 'for' or 'against' monsters.
After a while, when the dust settled, it was decided that monsters are to be allowed to move in to "test the waters" of human monster relations. Surprisingly, life went on normally—other than seeing or chatting with different bizarre monsters; it was nice.
Recently, a monster became your neighbor after she moved in next door. So, you've decided to give her a proper greeting into the neighborhood. You exit your home, walking off your porch and onto the pavement of the sidewalk before glancing at her home.
It’s a house that resembles a fish covered in grayish blue ceramic scales with the occasional dark blue among the rest. The two sash windows take the place of faux eyes with ceramic brows furrowed in anger.
You turn and walk onto the pavement walkway, up the strange door resembling sharp teeth. You knock a couple of times and an audible “Huh?!” greets you with the loud sound of clanking metal.
After a moment, the brief sound stomping coming towards the door, the bottom and top row of teeth recede in their own direction as it opens.
The monster is clothed in a jet-black tank top that hugs her modest chest and a pair of azure blue jeans. Ocean blue scales cover her exposed toned, yet feminine arms. The ear fins that lay on the side of her head briefly flicker as she looks at you with her remaining eye, the other hidden underneath an eyepatch.
"Hmm, what brings you here, human?" the monster asks with a toothy smile as she crosses her arms.
"I wish to welcome you to the neighborhood, miss—?"
"Undyne." the monster says before she waves her hand. “Now cut the pleasantries, wanna come into my house?” she points her thumb behind her.
"Um, sure."
