My little sister Lexi has been acting strange lately. It all started after I brought my girlfriend Emily over for dinner. Given that Emily and I have been dating for a few months now and that Lexi's already thirteen, I hadn't even considered the possibility that my little sister would be jealous of my girlfriend. It's not that we aren't close—we are, but since she's started going through puberty, Lexi hasn't been spending as much time with me as she used to. Despite this, Lexi has been acting very hostile towards Emily ever since that dinner—if I didn't know any better, I'd say my little sister is jealous of my girlfriend.
"Ugh, I suppose you have to have 'her' over again," Lexi complains, placing her feet onto my lap.
"Get off!" I retort, grabbing her ankles and shoving her off of me. "Of course I want to spend time with Emily, it's the weekend and she's my girlfriend; besides, what do you care? It's not like you and I still do stuff together, you're not a little kid anymore."
"That doesn't mean you can just have that slut over whenever you want, you know."
"I don't need your permission to do anything, I'm an adult and you're a child; I'd also appreciate it you stopped harassing my girlfriend and calling her a slut. What's your problem with her anyway?"
Lexi forces her feet back onto my lap, crossing her arms and glaring at me. "I don't like her. She's always trying to get between us."
"What are you talking about 'us', you're my little sister and these last few months you didn't want anything to do with me until you found out I was dating someone. Now you're acting like it's some big deal and it seems to me that you're jealous of my girlfriend."
"Jealous, of her? Ha! As if you could ever find anyone more beautiful than me."
I roll my eyes at this display of immaturity and once more remove her feet from my lap, standing and walking to the door to grab my keys. "Maybe if you were nicer to people, they'd want to spend time with you."
"I am nice!"
"No you're not, you're a brat, a spoiled little girl who thinks she deserves everything because she's pretty." For some reason Lexi suddenly seems to become flustered, looking away and fidgeting, while refusing to meet my gaze.
"Um, have fun with that slut!" She says quickly, running out of the room before I can respond. I'm unsure why she suddenly started to act so strangely, but it doesn't take long for me to put it from my mind—I'm going to go pick up my girlfriend.

I get up from my place on the couch beside Emily and head to the bathroom. I figure it's safe to leave Emily by herself since Lexi has been in her room all afternoon. But, as I'm flushing the toilet, I hear the sound of raised voices coming from the living room. By the time I get out there, the argument has ended and I see Emily run out the front door in tears. "Emily, wait!" I call after her.
"Leave me alone, I don't want to talk to you right now!" She yells, slamming the door shut behind her. Normally I would run after her regardless, but her house is only a few blocks away and the murderous look on Lexi's face tells me if I do she'll hit me.
"What the hell's wrong with you, can't you spend five minutes without fighting with her? You always make her cry!" I growl, grabbing Lexi's arm and yanking it roughly. I immediately realize my mistake, but it's too late—Lexi has been taking martial arts lessons for a couple of years now and has no qualms about using them. She twists my wrist with her free arm and then pushes me to the ground, straddling my chest.
"You! You, you..." she whimpers, her voice cracking with anger and something else. I've never seen her this way before, she seems almost afraid.
"Lexi, let me up!" I try to push her off of me, but she keeps pressing down harder.
"I don't want to..." she whispers. Before I can respond, my little sister leans down and kisses me hard on the lips. I try to push her off, but my shock makes my attempts half-hearted. I feel her tongue slide into my mouth and I reflexively grip her hips, pulling her closer to me. The kiss goes on for several seconds and when Lexi finally pulls away, she looks me dead in the eye.
"Lexi... what the fuck are you doing?" I gasp.
"You don't need her, you have me. I'm prettier and I love you way more than she does, you know I do. We should be together, you and I. She doesn't deserve you!"
"Lexi, stop it!" I snap, pushing her off of me. My hands are shaking though and she feels it.
Lexi takes my hand in hers, pulling me to my feet, "Come on, big brother... let's go upstairs and play."
I pull my hand away from her and step back, "Lexi, listen to me, you need to calm down, okay?"
She shakes her head, "No, you don't understand. I'm tired of listening to her whine, I'm tired of hearing about how great she is. She doesn't deserve you, you should be with me, you should be mine. I want you to be with me forever." As much as I try to deny it, Lexi's words are having an effect on me. Her body language and tone of voice are convincing me; I feel myself being drawn into her spell.
"I... I don't think we should do this..." I say feebly.
"Please, just come upstairs with me and I'll show you how much I love you; Mom and Dad won't be back for hours. I promise it'll be our little secret."
When I don't make any move to either follow or walk away, Lexi grabs my hand and begins tugging me toward the stairs. She leads me to her bedroom, which is decorated in pink and white and then pulls me over to the far wall by her bed. She turns to face me and places her hands on my chest, leaning in close.
"Kiss me," she whispers, her breath warm against my face. "Kiss me with more passion than you ever kissed her."
I swallow hard and
