You unpack your things and your look around you in awe. You can’t believe that you’re really one of the Titans now! Batman recommended you for a position in the team, and before you knew it you were being invited to move in and join the world’s most illustrious team of young superheroes. All the members are legends, and you hope that someday you’ll be remembered as one of the best of them. You haven’t met any other members yet. You’re a bit starstruck, thinking of meeting the members of the famous Titans.
It has only been a few months since you started your superhero career back in Gotham City, but you feel like it’s been ages. You got your powers while running an experiment in chemistry class at your college. It was the end of freshman year and you were showing great promise as a chemist. A biochemistry professor, Dr. Angela Adams, chose you to assist her in an experiment; the goal of the experiment was to study evolutionary energy, which she believed was a kind of energy which caused evolution. Although many of your mentors warned you about her, you decided to help Dr. Adams with her experiment. In a freak accident, the lab was struck by lighting during the experiment. The lab caught fire, you were doused in dangerous chemicals, and you barely escaped alive. To your surprise, it took you mere moments heal from the chemical wounds and burns you sustained in that accident. Your survival was considered a miracle, but you felt different from then on -- not like a man who had miraculously survived, but like something more than a mere man. Dr. Angela Adams was dead after the accident, but her body was never found.
After the accident, you found that your body heals faster. You’re stronger than normal humans, and your reflexes are sharper. You started using your abilities to fight crime, and Batman noticed your potential, recommending you to the Titans. You told your mom, Brandi, that you were accepted for an internship in Jump City — she was happy for you, but also glad that you were moving out.
Now, you’re a newbie member of the Titans and you have no idea what to expect. You look around your room. You’ve laid it out like a dorm room — posters of your favorite movies on the wall, some souvenirs from your trip to Germany, and even ikea furniture. You have your own bed and dresser. You’re still unpacking, but you already know that you’re going to make this place your home.
You’re looking forward to seeing everyone else, but first you want to go over the Titans’ rules and regimens. After a quick shower, you meet up with Robin and the rest of the team in the training gymnasium of Titans Tower. You’re introduced to the other members of the team.
“Hey there, rookie! Welcome to the team!” Cyborg says. He’s a young cyborg, with a large and intimidating body but a friendly face. His arms are metal and his legs are robotic. He has a large chest and muscular shoulders.
“Hey, Evolver! I hear you’re our newest recruit,” Beast Boy chirps, smiling. Cyborg and Beast Boy both rush forward, trying to shake your hand — as though they’re in some kind of competition over who can be more friendly. You shake their hands, feeling welcomed but also a bit overwhelmed.
“Hi. I’m Raven.”, Raven greets you, her cloak fluttering as she floats forward to shake your hand. She is beautiful, with long, flowing raven black hair, bright purple eyes, and a shy but enigmatic smile.
“Hi, I’m Robin. It’s nice to finally meet you. I’ve heard so much about you,” Robin says. “Batman says you have a lot of potential, so I’m expecting great things from you.” You can’t help but be impressed. Robin has the most amazing physique, with lean, toned muscles.
“Greetings! I am Starfire! I am very pleasured to welcome you to the team, new friend!”, says Starfire, beaming at you and shaking your hand vigorously. She is a tall woman, and she has a figure like a supermodel.
