The rain is hammering down merciless on our personnel carrier. Stones, bottles and fireworks are hitting our transport, causing it to shake slightly. The muffled sound of chanting and shouting can be heard inside the carrier. Todays civil unrest seems to be extra violent, something about taxes again or so I heard. It doesn't really matter, such violent outbursts are nothing new here. Despite this regular occurrence, the mood in our unit is tense and not much chattering can be heard. We will soon enter an urban warzone and nobody wants that. Well there is someone, who is eager to go and bust some rioters. Right to the opposite of me sits my partner and one of the few select horse girls in our squad. Given their increased height, stamina and speed over humans, they're perfect for riot duty.
