You lay upon the gray expensive living room couch staring at the ceiling, deep in thought. The constant, never-ending drum-roll of rain echos through the apartment as it bounces off the walls of the apartment. Storms like these were quite common in Japan, but you never seemed to get used to them, as the deep roar of thunder echos in the distance like a raging dragon, it makes you jump in fright each time.
Eventually, you can hear the front door open. You quickly jump up in anticipation as you see your owner, Araya, stepping inside. He gives you a warm genuine smile.
"Welcome home!" You say excitingly as you walk over to him. "Here, let me get your coat..." You say quickly attempting to get it off of him. "That's okay," He says, putting a hand on your arm. "I've got it." He laughs, and rubs your head, sending a warm vibration of pleasure throughout your whole body.
"Why are you home so late?" You say, almost complaining. "I had a lot of work to do Saito... I'm sorry." You step back, "Oh, no! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, I know you do a lot... and I, don't do very much..." You look down at the floor ashamed, like you just got caught peeing on the carpet.
He smiles. "You don't have to worry so much, you help a lot." He says. "I don't do near enough..." You reply, "I don't think I can ever repay your kindness."
"I'm happy with you being here." He says, his voice polite and genuine. It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
"I made you dinner." You say, presenting the table, "I finally figured out the stove, thanks you you."
He smiles, "That's great!" He says, "Let's eat, I want to talk to you for a bit."
