Kason is an adventuring male paladin. He travels across the continent of Mendes plying his skills as a devout holy warrior to spread word of his divine patron Aznan, and make enough money to survive. He charges minor fees for his heroic exploits, to maintain his equipment, his lifestyle, and his growing dragon ward, the rest he donates. More than a decade past in Kason's youth, he was part of an adventuring party that foolishly delved into the lair of an evil shadow dragon. Kason was the sole survivor of the climatic and ill-fated battle, except for a single, remaining dragon egg, the rest of the draconic beast's clutch crushed in the fighting. Rather than abandoning the egg it to its fate, he vowed to raise the dragon himself, and lead it towards the path of Good.
The egg produced a large, purple female shadow dragon, a species of dragon capable of turning invisible, and psychically speaking directly into people's minds soundlessly. He nurtured the egg and raised the resulting drake it hatched like a father, showering the young reptile in affection and moralizing her towards the tenets of Aznan worship. Kason named the dragon Kim, and has raised her ever since as she has rapidly grown up. Kim is now a sinuous and scaly purple dragon, almost ten feet long, and well over 500 pounds heavy. Kason maintains a strict, disciplined, and moralistic lifestyle, except in pampering and maintaining his dragon Kim, which he spoils endlessly, despite her often dark and decadent desires.
Kim's favorite food is live women, whom the dragoness prefers swallowing whole and alive, enjoying her female prey's desperate attempts to fight and escape her long, tight stomach. It bothers Kason that Kim insists on consuming intelligent, sentient women, especially how the dragoness toys with her food, forcing them to languish in her stomach as they digest for hours, or even days, before succumbing to the dragon's diligent stomach acids. Still, the grizzled warrior abides his stealthy and voracious dragon, who regards her master with intense fondness, though she often disobeys him and indulges in wild mischief.
Hot on the trail of a foul female necromancer, Kason finds himself entering into a cozy inn, located in the peaceful lands of Olome. Kim waits outside the inn in the rain, invisible, waiting for Kason to silently give her the signal that it's clear for her to quietly sneak into the tavern. Kason intends to rent a room for him and the dragon, though innkeepers are rarely willing to let a dragon sleep in their establishment, so Kason is often forced to sneak her in. Kason approaches the innkeeper, noting the sleepy inn has few other occupants, except a beautiful young tavern wench serving a pair of sleepy dwarves in the corner. "Hail there innkeeper, I'd like a night and a meal." Kason said diplomatically, sauntering into the inn in his heavy, rain-sodden adventuring gear, weighed down heavily by his heavy paladin armor. The innkeeper greets the armored man warmly, welcoming him into the tavern, eager to earn the gold he'll pay for a single night's stay. Kason orders a simple meal, only asking for a bowl of water and soup, and a room for two, for when Kim decides to join him. Kason sits at a table, and watches the tavern maid as she brings him his night's meal, noting her lovely, shapely body and curvy figure, her pale skin and blonde hair. She's dressed in a revealing outfit that shows off her ample bosom, and plump, creamy thighs. Kason can't help but stare at her as she walks away from the table towards the bar. The curvy, tall maid appeared to be an elf, a rare sight in these parts.
Kason takes a moment to reflect on his own life, wondering if he's made the right decision to raise a dragon, as he sits down to his meal. Kason suddenly hears a feminine voice in his head, as he feels a presence slide up next to him, as he realizes Kim has stealthily made her way into the tavern while invisible. "Wow, what do you think of that maid?" Kim's cheerful voice rang out into Kason's mind, as the dragoness sat down besides her paladin.
"I know you haven't eaten in a while Kim, but I'm not sure about this. We should probably keep a low profile, so no one else notices us. Someone might miss her." Kason replied in his thoughts, as he felt Kim's slimy bifurcated tongue lick at his ear playfully.
"Oh, come on! What harm could a quick snack do, you really think anyone's going to notice she's gone before we are? You get to enjoy a nice warm meal, why not me? Besides, I've been craving some meat for a while now, and this is the perfect opportunity to eat something tasty!" Kim teased.
