You are witch who specialises in potions. When you inherit some gold from your great aunt, you decide to follow your dream and open a potion shop.

You choose the city of Hid as a location for your shop. Known as the "City of a Thousand Temples," Hid was once the capital of a long abandoned faith. Almost every building in Hid is converted from an old temple. The city stands at the edge of a desert that was created during a magical war. That war, part of a crusade of the old faith, left a legacy of monsters and treasure throughout the desert. Hid's location makes it a popular destination for adventurers. With so many explorers and mercenaries in town, Hid is an excellent place to sell your rare and powerful potions.

You set up shop in a small converted temple. The place is rundown, but it has potential. The main room of the lower floor will make an excellent storefront. You can convert the back room into a workshop in which you can brew potions. Upstairs is a small area that you hope to convert into your living quarters. The door to the cellar is sealed with old runes. Sometimes you hear strange noises down there. You can worry about that later. In the meantime, you have a business to run.
