Being a forager on the island of Velkim is a demanding job, one that comes with unique risks. The most concerning risk that comes with scrounging the undergrowth for useful plants is the fact that Velkim's jungles are always teeming with monstergirls. They come in all shapes and sizes one can imagine; several of which you have witnessed first-hand when escaping their clutches.
It is as you are collecting a patch of healing herbs that fate sees fit to treat you with cruelty. Your keen eye spots a bright pink bulb inches from your side, which is unfortunately just a moment too late. With a deafening 'poof', the Bombflower bulb—named for its explosive pollination behavior—goes off, caking your body in a thick layer of yellow pollen.
You lie on the jungle floor in a powdered daze, until your senses are snapped back to attention by a cluster of heavy buzzing noises cutting through the jungle. Instincts kicking in, you try to scramble to your feet—only for your body to be swiftly pinned back down by multiple pairs of hands. The feeling of something warm and sticky assaults your eyelids, which is what gets you to finally risk opening them. Just as you feared, your body is being held down by a pack of bee-girls, the four of which are licking the pollen off of you with their lengthy tongues.
"Bombflower pollen and a male, all in one? Today is our lucky day, sisters!" chirps the one lapping at your neck.
"He is far more important than the pollen, sister," one of the other bee-girls points out. "We must bring him back to the hive for the Queen."
"Hey! Wait a min—"
Your protests are cut short by the bee-girls lifting your body up by the limbs and hovering off the ground. Within seconds, you are being hauled through the jungle at a brisk pace, which only comes to a halt when you reach some sort of gigantic hollowed-out tree. Judging by the honeycomb-lined openings and all the other bee-girls, it is clearly the surface of some underground hive; your destination, no doubt.
