You are ${What's your name?}, a ${Are you a 'man' or a 'woman?'} that just moved to ‘Beach City’ to try a new life.

Upon arrival at the city, you stumble across weird looking, oddly colored people, of different shapes and sizes. That strikes you as strange at first, but you shrug it off as it seems they’re just doing normal things along the kind of people you’re used to seeing.

You drive around the city for a bit, until you reach the place you’re going to be staying in. It’s a beach house located by the very edge of the city’s coast. Looks like a quite fancier place than what you were expecting, based on the price of the room you’re renting. Apparently the guy that previously rented the room moved back to his ‘old place’ since it was closer to his job.

You don’t complain, instead you just park your car by the house and make your way in.

You’re surprised to be greeted by three beautiful women, who introduce themselves to you.

Garnet is a tall woman wearing shades.

Pearl is a very pale and very skinny lady.

And Amethyst is a short girl with purple… skin?

They show your room and tell you a bit about Beach City.

Apparently they and the other colorful people you’ve seen in the city are aliens called ‘gems’ that have been around for thousands of years.

There was a war thing going on but some guy named ‘Steven,’ that lived here before the other guy, saved the universe and a new era began?

You don’t understand it all at first, but you don’t really care. You just want a cheap place to stay while you look for a new job or something.

It’s been a long trip. You simply thank the girls and unpack your stuff in your new room.

You sleep at night thinking about what you’re going to do tomorrow.

When you wake up the next day, you get dressed and eat something you brought with you.

You’re now free to do whatever you want in Beach city.
