The first thing Jinguuji heard on waking up was bird chatter. He groaned and rubbed his eyes, looking around him. Everything was so blurry, but it looked like... a clearing?
Jinguuji felt around, eventually finding his glasses lying next to him and putting them on. He didn't expect what he saw next.
There, lying next to him, was his friend Tachibana, snoring peacefully.
How did they get here? The last thing Jinguuji remembered was... the goddess.
That's right, as they were walking home from the mixer, that weird naked bunny goddess had appeared out of nowhere, said something about needing a hero, and shot both of them with an arrow. The next thing they knew, they were here.
What had just happened?
Jinguuji shook his head and sat up, feeling the soft, plush grass under his fingers as he pushed himself to his feet. This was definitely no dream. But first, he had to check on his friend.
As he approached the unconscious form of Tachibana, he was shocked to see his friend's body erupt in some sort of strange light.
"T- TACHIBANA!" he shouted, running over to his friend.
But within a second, it was over, and where his male, suit-wearing friend had been just moments earlier, there now lay a blonde haired woman, wearing a pink button down shirt with a white undershirt, and blue jeans, lying in the same position his friend had been.
"Jinguuji?" she heard the woman murmur. As she opened her eyes, she saw they were a deep, captivating blue.
But Jinguuji didn't care. He immediately dashed over and pointed an accusing finger at the young woman.
"Who are you and how do you know my name? What did you do with Tachibana?"
The blonde woman, still half asleep, muttered, "What are you talking about Jinguuji? I'm right here."
It was then that the woman paused.
"Whoa, what's... wrong with my voice?" she said. She looked down at herself and noticed something seemed out of place. "Why am I wearing women's clothes? Wait, what are these on my chest!? And!?" She reached down to her crotch through her jeans, and looked positively shocked to find nothing there.
"I've turned into a girl!?" she shouted.
Jinguuji just looked at the strange woman in stunned silence. "Tachibana? Is that really you?"
"Of course it's me!" she spat.
But before either of them could ask any more questions, a portal opened directly in front of them, and out popped the naked bunny goddess that had sent them here just moments before.
"Welcome brave humans!" she said. "As you know, I've sent you here to-."
"YOU!" Tachibana spat, looking like she was about to rush the goddess before Jinguuji held her back. "What's the big idea huh? Turning me into a girl? What kind of game is this to you?"
The goddess, however, merely looked confused. "Is this not what you wished for?"
"Of course not! I'd never ask for such a thing!"
But then Jinguuji remembered, that night outside the bar, before they met the goddess. Tachibana's drunken wish to become a beautiful girl after getting rejected.
"Jinguuji? What's with that look?" Tachibana asked, and Jinguuji couldn't look her in the eye.
"Uh Tachibana, that's actually exactly what you wished for."
Tachibana blushed. She remembered getting drunk that night, but it was all a blur after that. If what Jinguuji said was true, then...
