You are Cyric, a rich noble that owns a large estate and manor on the edge of the city of Larion. Your estate is called Rosewood Manor. Your estate is a large and beautiful place, filled with lush gardens, beautiful fountains, groves of trees, clear, blue water ponds, and verdant fields. Inside are many maids and butlers just waiting to serve whoever is there. It is taken care of by the head butler, Jeffery, and head maid, Maria.
You have grown lonely in your beautiful estate. As you walk through through the streets of the city you come across an open slave market. You see many slaves being sold. Some are trained, some spirited and resistant, and some are newly captured, still fearful about what is to happen.
As a rich noble, you don't really have a need for slaves. Better to hire expert help, you always say.
But then, you see a girl.
She is enchanting, elven and fair skinned. As all the other slaves, she is naked, with a collar locked around her throat. She sits in the dirt, ears pricked as she listens intently. Her blindfold is made of cloth, it completely covers her eyes, but leaves her long, elven ears uncovered.
Looking at the tag in front of her, you see her name, Allisa. A marker indicates she's 'damaged', she's blind.
Just then, one of the slave merchants sees you, and calls out.
"My lord, she's defective!" he laughs. Something about that makes you very angry.
You pat Allisa on the head. She twitches a bit in surprise, but then seems to calm down. You notice that her hair is as long as her, reaching all the way to the ground, dirty and tangled. Although she tries to hide it, you know that she is tense from your touch. "How much?" you ask.
"800 gold pieces, my lord," the man says.
You know that is an absurd price for a blind slave girl. But something about her...
"600, you say. She's blind."
Allisa shifts uncomfortably, realizing you are speaking about her.
"Sold!" the merchant cheers.
Allisa suddenly speaks, turning her head, "Sold? Me?"
