The endless procession of the Damned listlessly marched by, while Azelbu halfheartedly whipped at them with a barbed cat-o-nine-tails. The winged bat demoness had never really 'fit in' with the other denizens of Hell. It seemed like all of Satan's other minions had a zest for the barbarous that was plainly absent from Azelbu's kind heart. The scaly, fuzzy chiropteran creature put in just enough effort to avoid the scorn of her red-skinned overseers. As time in the fiery Underworld passed, the short bat creature learned how to placate her minders, coasting by listlessly. The chittering chiropteran became a honed master at putting in the absolute minimum effort towards her duties, which were both literally and metaphorically torturous.
Recently though, the demonic denizens of the netherworld became acutely aware of a recent shift in diabolical activities. The Devil's upper command had prompted a heightened state of readiness for their monstrous hordes. Snarling demons from Gehenna to Tartarus were called from their torture pits and slave lines to participate in grandiose mass drills, equipped with Hade's latest infernal weaponry. Azelbu was issued a barbed pitchfork, capable of summoning forth bolts of explosive brimstone on command. The small bat demoness would flinch and yelp a little every time she fired the destructive weapon, as Azelbu increasingly failed to summon forth the martial spirit of her peers. After only a few weeks of training, the motley fiends were assembled before the Dark Lord himself.
The lesser beasts were relegated far, far to the back of the grand assembly of Satan's numerous underlings. Even so, Azelbu's large, dome-like bat ears easily picked up his booming oration, "My nefarious, unholy legions, the time of vengeance and elevation is upon us! The Antichrist has successfully paved the way for our ascension to the surface world. Glorious conquest and the souls of all mortals are ours! The Apocalypse has begun, and Armageddon is nigh!" Satan's proclamation elicited a cacophonous outpouring of frenzied applause from the disparate monstrosities assembled across the wide, sulfurous mustering grounds. Azelbu's shrill, high-pitched voice joined in the excited ovation. Attending the Devil's big, pompous, motivational speeches were her favorite part of working in the Abyss, and despite her usual reservations, Azelbu really got into the boisterous spirit of the moment.
It wasn't until the little bat demon was marching in battle formation towards the roaring Hellmouths, that the gravity of the situation sank in. They were really going to the surface this time, this was it. Numerous conflicting feelings rushed through Azelbu's head and heart, as she tried to process what this meant for her. The chiropteran fiend's little claws clutched nervously at her pitchfork. Fear of battling on the surface world filled her with trepidation. The hulking pitfiend behind Azelbu kept having to angrily usher her forward as she occasionally lingered, lost in contemplation. A part of the bat demoness' heart was filled with excitement too. Azelbu had fervently harbored a fantasy to visit the world of humanity. She was eager to experience a society unlike the infernal pecking order that had regulated her existence for countless millennia. It was a shame she was under strict orders to destroy it all with her thronging compatriots.
It was a bustling Friday night in Atlanta. Despite the recent rash of unseasonable weather, everything appeared otherwise normal. That was, until numerous gateways from Hell opened up at tactical locations across the sprawling city. Horrified people could barely believe their eyes, as grimacing, living apertures of flesh breached the ground. The Hellmouths unearthed rivers of molten lava, and began expelling huge boulders of smouldering brimstone that exploded across the metropolis' towering skyscrapers. This was all a prelude, however, as their churning maws opened wide, and expelled thousands of flying, galloping, and scuttling abominations upon the land. Azelbu struggled to fly out with her ferocious cohorts, as the smaller demoness was rudely shoved and jostled about by the numerous insectoid monstrosities accompanying her. They were covered in hard, chitinous armor, equipped with a stinging tails, and the beating of their wings created a terrifying racket.
Azelbu really didn't know what to do once she was clear of the teeming legions that continuously poured out from the bowels of Hell. She was scared to go flying up with the rest of her winged cohorts, as jet fighters screamed overhead, doing battle with the flapping horrors that crowded the skies. Afraid of being reprimanded for dereliction or desertion, the petite bat creature anxiously fluttered to the chaotic streets of the doomed city. As Azelbu began touching down on Atlanta's outskirts, she tried to remember how to get her pitchfork to do the fiery-thing. However, the ill-disciplined fiend was immediately distracted by the feeling of grass on her clawed feet, as she shrilly proclaimed, "Oh by Beelzebub, this place is so nice." The chiropteran creature lifted her bony arms wide in euphoric exaltation. Trilling happily, Azelbu stretched her pinions out to unfurl her membranous wings, catching the relatively cool breeze blowing across the area. When a fleeing human from the ruined city ran past, Azelbu squeaked in alarm, and clutched her pitchfork nervously.
Not knowing what else to do, and feeling incredibly threatened by the large human, Azelbu flew up and bore down on the hysteric, fleeing man. Forgetting her training in the moment, the bat demoness clumsily swatted at the man's head with her pitchfork tines, making it vibrate like a tuning-fork. The man barreled forward, prostrating before the flying hellion as she continued battering him and chattering wildly for good measure. The bat creature flitted down and raised her pitchfork up triumphantly over the defeated mortal. Lording over the kneeling figure, Azelbu exuberantly tittered, "Kneel before me, deluded lamb of the false god! Look upon the form of your annihilator! Tremble in despair, as I claim your wretched soul for the glory of Satan!" The cowering man babbled incoherently, as Azelbu leveled her pitchfork at him and paused.
The bat demoness thoughtfully mulled things over, as her earthly captive quailed in obsequious defeat. Azelbu realized she really just didn't have the heart for all this wanton slaughter and mayhem, determinedly chucking her pitchfork aside as she intently scrutinized her hostage. The man noticed the change in the creature's demeanor, as he stared back apprehensively into the huge eyes of the small bat monster, sensing the kindness lurking underneath her golden irises. Azelbu became briefly enraptured in the moment, before coyly breaking off their mutual gaze. Something about this big, terrified mortal man stirred a tenderness within the chiropteran demoness that she had forcefully repressed for countless eons. The bat fiend struggled to find the words to express her gushing feelings, the emotional outpouring make her normally rapid-paced, ear-piercing voice quaver, "I, um, y'know I'm not really into this whole 'Doomsday' thing. Nobody told me Earth was so nice. You're not like all the corrupted souls down in Hades, I like the way you smell. Wanna get outta here? What's your name, anyway? Mortals have names, right?"
Adam didn't really know what to make of things, as the little bat demoness clambered up on his back. Her fluffy mane tickled the back of his neck as she hooked her spindly legs around his waist, and began rapidly flapping her taut wings while Atlanta blazed behind them. The terrified man was greatly surprised at how the relatively smaller bat creature effortlessly bore him up into the night sky, his weight painfully hung around his midsection as she clutched him tight. The sky was filled with leering hellspawn while Azelbu made for the distance. None of her fellow invaders thought anything of the little demoness bearing the screaming man through the sky, assuming she was carting him off for a nefarious drop. Azelbu had the demonic endurance to bear her heavy cargo through the skies for hours. Remembering her lessons on terrestrial geography during the invasion training, Azelbu used her wide, ridged bat nose to guide herself towards the smell of salt. Adam was numb, cramped, and cold by the time the bat demoness began to descend. Azelbu was getting tired and hungry, and upon spying an isolated tract of coast, glided down to explain things to her new acquaintance.
She'd had the time to think things over, and wanted to confess her burgeoning feelings to the human. Having never landed with someone in her claws before, Azelbu made a mess of it as she touched down, letting Adam crash and skid down into the sand as she gracefully flapped down to his side. Shivering from the cold altitude he'd been enduring for hours, the traumatized human clumsily got to his feet and flinched as the demoness approached him, arms outstretched. "Oh no, you're all cold now, here come in close," Azelbu chittered, while she extended her bony limbs around his shoulders. Adam tried to politely resist at first, but Azelbu was much, much stronger, and assertively began furling her elastic wings around his back and body with her wide wingspan. The overwhelmed man submissively allowed the petite, chiropteran demoness to wrap his arms to his sides, as she pressed her fuzzy, tan belly snug to his chest. Azelbu had to raise up off her feet to reach around his wide back, holding him close as she rested her chin on his collarbone. The confused man marveled at the unexpected warmth of the bat lady's demonic body, which radiated with infernal heat.
The pair maintained the close embrace for a timeless moment, before Azelbu piped in, "So, that long flight made me really hungry. You're heavier than the hell slaves I used to ferry around. And, well, I'm sort of like, a vampire bat. I can smell what I need in your veins. I need to drink some of your blood. I promise to make it worth your while. Also, you kinda owe me. You'd be getting flayed right now if I hadn't rescued you."
The human male cringed at the demoness' confession, but held back before protesting. Adam realized he didn't even have the capacity to resist the hell bat's unnatural strength, and meekly responded, "Yeah... sure thing. You're only going to take like, a pint right-- Oh God!" Before he could finish, Azelbu was intently lapping at his neck with her long, flexible tongue, her spit making his skin tingly, then numb. Moments later, the little bat fiend unlatched her short muzzle wide and sank her vampiric fangs into the side of Adam's neck. The bat saliva made the process mostly painless, but he still found the sanguine transaction difficult to endure. Azelbu's eyes fluttered close, and she was making happy, grunting squeaks in the back of her throat while she suckled at his neck. Her winged arms cinched tight to his back as she pressed him in closer. Adam tried to focus on the softness of her mane and the smooth, green scales on her legs as she lifted them up around his hips. When he started feeling faint, and little stars appeared in the corner of his dimming vision, the worried man began to wriggle about. He felt too weak from bloodloss to wrest his arms free of her wings, as the bat had him tightly folded up. She continued happily supping at the holes in his neck, before noticing her partner's rising struggles. Azelbu lingered several moments longer, before reluctantly withdrawing her stained lips from Adam's wound.
The chiropteran demoness had a pleased, dreamy look on her wide eyes as she tenderly licked at some stray droplets of blood at his nape, her saliva tinted crimson with his essence. "Mmm, your blood tastes really nice. It's so healthy and innocent, nothing like the boiling blood of sinners in the pit." Adam didn't really know how to respond to that, as the furry creature began sensuously rubbing her arms and legs at his sides, continuing, "I'm not sure this is exactly how it's done, but a succubus said this is important for mortal relationships. I want to ask you something. Something really personal... Will you marry me?"
Adam was completely dumbfounded, as he stared down at the strange, chiropteran features of the demonic creature clasping him. Bats were rarely considered a beautiful species, and this humanoid bat creature had a non-traditional appearance at best. Still, something about the way her big, brilliant eyes stared up at him, anxiously studying his expression as she hung on his response, made Adam consider the impossible. "I, uh, how would that even work? W-why do you want to marry me? I don't understand what's going on, this is all moving so fast," he finally managed to stammer.
Azelbu quickly squeaked back, "I don't know how much you know about where I come from, but Hell isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm tired living in sin, I'm sick of it! I want a good and happy life, like you humans have here on the surface. Make me your wife and let's escape all the madness of the Apocalypse together! Maybe I can even bear your children, like an incubus or succubus can!"
His head spun as the conversation progressed. The cloying, heated proximity of the excited bat woman draped around him clouded Adam's thinking. Considering his previous life had been destroyed in the demonic attack on Atlanta, the demoralized man reasoned he might as well submit to this crazed turn of fate. "Well, uh, okay?"
The demoness squealed aloud, and clutched at her newly engaged husband so tightly she risked injuring him with her infernal strength. Azelbu hoisted up higher on the tall man, and immediately began planting wet smooches all over his face and neck, leaving splotchy kiss marks of bloodied saliva across his nape. "Oh I'm so happy right now! I never knew Judgement Day would be so fun and romantic! You know what that makes this then, right? This is our honeymoon!" Azelbu concluded her rapid-paced words by tightly gripping the back of Adam's head, dragging him down closer for an intimate kiss. The newly anemic man could taste his own coppery blood on the bat woman's saliva, as her long tongue inquisitively explored every nook and cranny of his mouth, making him gag as it flicked at his uvula. The little demon bat wantonly ground her narrow hips up against his groin, slowly coaxing a rigid erection from her restrained, human spouse. She briefly withdrew from the make-out session to demurely ask, "Um, no biggie, but your penis doesn't have any barbs, hooks, blades or harpooning mechanisms, right? I mean, I can deal with it if you do, but I hated dating Cacodemons."
"Uh, no, it's pretty straight and smooth... with a very slight curve. Hey, let me get an arm free and we can uh, consummate this, I guess," Adam said, blushing slightly in embarrassment. Azelbu opened her eyes wide and nodded, firmly planting her muzzle back on his mouth as their tongues intimately intertwined. She released just enough room with her wing to allow him to work his left arm free, as he draped it over her fuzzy back, and worked his hand around her scrawny, right thigh to reach his zipper. Her stubby bat tail flicked against his wrist as he shifted his grasp. It took a while, considering how intimately the bat demoness was wrapped around him, but eventually the determined man worked his manhood free. Aiming his swelling penis upward, he could feel her downy, damp crotch fur spreading around his tip as he prodded around for whatever type of vaginal opening bat demon's had. Guided by his furry lover's dampness and warmth, Adam pressed past the matted hair surrounding her feminine nexus. His phallus snuggled up against her tightly clenched labial lips, inducing Azelbu to withdraw from her canoodling to release a litany of spirited cries.
The demoness' outburst of echolocation noises startled Adam, who lost the sexual initiative with his high-strung bat wife. The petite creature lowered down the man's chest slightly for a better angle, as Azelbu focused on relaxing her clenched pelvic muscles to accept her lover's length. Curling her legs tight to his side for added leverage, the bat woman used his hard rod to incrementally loosen her moistening entrance. Adam found the infernal creature's sex as tightly clinging as her wings. Azelbu's vaginal canal constricted to a formfitting embrace around his invading penis, the man finding little room to maneuver in her warm, cloying sheath. The bat woman rested her head under Adam's chin, her large ears brushing his cheeks as she endlessly tittered out in rising cadence with his thrusts.
