You stop running for a moment to catch your breath once you're certain the Team Aqua grunts chasing you lost track of you. You should've known better than to confront three of the goons at once, but what good person would've stood by as they stole a young girl's Pokémon. Sure, you and ${Pokémon name} emerged victorious, but more of them heard the commotion and chased after you. You may have evaded them, but Lavaridge Town was a small settlement in the Hoenn region, so you knew you wouldn't be able to stay out of their cross hairs for long.

Peering around another corner, your eyes fall upon the local hot springs. You and ${Pokémon name} share a knowing look and decide that's the best place to hide, at least for the time being. Once you drew your Pokémon back into its Pokéball, you walked inside.

Nobody was in the lobby when you looked around. You did notice two doors off to the side of the reception desk, each labeled differently for each gender. But you spotted faint patterns of a Team Aqua uniform.

For the briefest moment, your eyes met theirs despite the distance. Your heart skipped a beat at the realization that you may have been caught. You panicked and ran through one of the doors to the hot springs.

But you didn't pay attention to which door you ran through.

Only when you darted around the corner and arrived at the steaming water did you realize you ran inside the women's hot springs.

And only one other person was here.

Flannery.

The town's gym leader.

Covered up to her clavicle only by the semi-transparent water.

Once you two met eyes, her eyes shot open in shock as you quickly shushed her. "My name's ${Name}! I just need to hide for a little bit!" You pleaded, looking away from her exposed body. Flannery wanted to push you out, but heard the Team Aqua grunts murmuring to each other on the other side of the fence. After mulling it over for a moment, she relented.

"Fine, you can hide in the water, but no peeking!" She insisted, her cheeks blushing.
