You're a young man living a normal life. Recently you've had some anxiety and you've turned to your older sister, who is a licensed hypnotherapist. She offers you a generous family discount and pencils in an appointment for you. After waiting in the antechamber to her office, she calls you in. She smiles warmly at you, and invites you to sit in the comfortable leather chair in the center of the room. You sink into the cushion as she dims the lights and begins to induce a trance. She has you follow a medallion on a string, back and forth with your eyes and you feel yourself relaxing and sinking down, deeper and deeper.

After a lengthy induction, your sister smiles and reminds you that you are under. You nod, numbly, feeling as if her words are a thousand miles away. She tells you that you will do everything she says, when she says it, and that you will find it easy to go along with. You nod numbly once more, and she grins.
