You are the apprentice of the renowned wizard Marcus, a master of transmutation magic. So great is his power that he is rumored to be able to take the form of a mighty dragon.

For the last year you have been learning under Marcus within his remote castle home in the kingdom of Larion. Besides the many magical familiars and golems that occupy the castle, the only other human residing there is the wizard's sister Miranda.
