You are ${Your name?}. You're a deeply tainted, a person whose urges and desires are darker than most, and have done a great many damnable deeds. You turn your dark gaze upon the last church at the end of the world, nestled away between two hills, a quiet almost picturesque oasis of calm in this dying world. You trudge slowly toward the church's pale marble walls jutting out of the tainted blackened earth.

You find yourself standing before the worn wooden doors, place your hands upon them, and push then open. You cross the threshold and find yourself standing in a grand nave with two long rows of aged wooden pews laid out before you like rows of graves. At the front of the pews stands a grand altar, decorated in worn ivory angelic statues and aged wood painted white. The altar dominates the chancel. You stare up at the altar for who knows how long, wondering why those angels upon it did nothing as demons ravaged and destroyed the world, until your attention is suddenly jerked back to reality.

"Are you here for confession?" A voice, clear and gentle like a bell, asks. You turn to see a young woman garbed in a black habit with a white scapular, a black cowl and veil covering her head while leaving her beautiful pale face exposed. You briefly wonder how she escaped being enslaved, murdered, or worse by the roving bandits or wild demons.

"Can you understand me, child?" The woman asks again, and your attention is drawn to her pale blue eyes and the soft smile spread across her face.

"N-No," you reply.

"Come now, child," she says with a gentle tone, "confession is necessary to absolve the soul of sin. I am Sister Ava. It is the Final Judgment, and I will hear your sin."

She gestures to the well worn confessional she stands beside, and you find your feet moving toward it automatically. You enter the booth, and turn to the grate inside. You can see Ava's shadow through it.

"Good evening, child," Sister Ava says.

"Forgive me Mother, for I have sinned," you say automatically,
