Everything changed quicker than Elaine's brain could process. Just a few hours ago, she had been having a lighthearted talk with her as it was custom for her to do every day, now... all that remains of her is her mangled body, spread all over the blood-soaked floor. It's truly a horrid scene, those things didn't limit themselves to kill her, no, they took their time to sadistically tear her apart, each one of them fighting for the biggest bite her body, and she -- still conscious -- watching them consume her limbs between sobs and screams. Luckily, she didn't suffer for long; death was merciful, taking her before she could suffer the worst part of the creature's lechery. Sadly, not everyone was so lucky. Elaine, their meal's friend, who was observing from inside a locker, hidden from the gaze of the indescribable aberrations, had to watch them -- for what she felt like ages -- feed on the body of someone she had shared many memories with, sight how they ravished her limp, defenseless corpse. Many times she felt her bile rising to her throat, the disaster that her eyes presenced being more than what her feeble mind could manage. However, her fear was greater than her repugnance, managing her to contain her reflex, although eventually having to muffle her release with her own hands, so as not to make any noise. Eventually, perhaps fully satisfied, they ceased their carnage; slowly retreating to the halls, an unrecognizable sac of flesh laying where a human used to be not so long ago.
Elaine remains in her place for a few minutes, fearing the creatures could making her accompany her friend. After no so long, feeling relatively safe, she gathers the courage to come out of her hiding place. She meekly pokes her head out of the locker, searching for any hint of movement... nothing happens. Stepping out, she wipes her hands on her skirt, cringing a bit, and slowly walks out of the room avoiding the entrails and gore that cover almost the entirety of the habitation.
The hall's something that could only come out of a fever dream: there are cadavers as long as the sight can reach. The closest one is impaled against the wall, a door stuck on his chest and his face chewed to the point that it barely looks human's. His lower body is nowhere to be found, the only part which seems to be unharmed, to your surprise: his manhood, which oozes a white substance from the tip. Elaine's knees grow weak as she wanders through the halls, even requiring her to lean her shoulder onto a wall at some point.
Her breathing becomes quicker, as the shock passes and she grows conscious of everything that had happened. She drops on her knees and begins to hyperventilate, her hands covering her face, maybe a futile attempt to escape from reality. All the scenes from the past hours coming to her at once, her friend, the corpses, the walking horrors, everything. The thought of ending her life crosses her mind, it could be so easy to finish this all in just a moment. A piece of glass catches her eye, it looks so appealing; just a swift movement... and her fears will go away. She places the shard on her neck, her hands shaking. She sobs uncontrollably as she grips the shard with both of her hands, blood pouring from her palm. Feeling how it punctures her neck makes her hands feel cold and her stomach turn. Soon, she feels a warm sensation on her nether regions, which spreads quickly through her panties and finally her skirt. Between sobs, she stares down, still gripping the shard, and notices a crystalline substance drenching her clothes and the floor, forming a small puddle around her. This ends to shatter her resolve; making her drop the shard onto the floor which splashes some of the clear liquid as it hits the floor.
She was too coward to take her own life, thus she must continue living in the hell that was now her school. She manages to stand up, her skirt still dripping her urine, which was running down her leg. She keeps walking, or well, dragging herself through the halls.
