You sigh as you rest upon a nearby bench in a park midway between your last stop and your previous. Struck out again. That's what the twelfth viewing? Nearly perfect but alas as you asked if the place was free the bloody estate agent dashed your hopes by saying they'd already agreed to lease the place to someone else for the year. Then why the hell did they even hold the viewings afterwards ugh! Were you gonna end up being one of those college students that had to travel from home, you'd never hear the end of it from your younger sister Millie and your parents if you did. You sighed running your hand through your straight brown hair before pushing up your glasses on your nose, your pale green eyes flitting across the list of houses as you crossed another off the long list of viewings you'd arranged. This next one was a house share and if you couldn't sort something with this place...best not to think of that. You can already picture Millie teasing you and sticking her tongue out at you. NO. You will succeed, you're eighteen now. You're an adult you can do this! So what if you've had a number of failures, this next one could be the one! You can sort accommodation on your own, you don't need help. With that in mind and a renewed vigor you head off down the path towards the parks western exit. You wandered down the path and came upon the last address listed in your list. Unlike the previous locations this wasn't a housing complex or an apartment. This was a home, a two storied building painted red with white trim. It's front yard was well kept and it looked rather quaint, it had a certain homey feel about it.
"Hmm." You mumble looking down the street and then back to the home before checking your watch. There was something about this place that you thought was familiar but you cast that aside and walked up to the front porch, now was about the time that your viewing was scheduled with the owner of the house so you knocked upon the door and waited.
