You are {name}, a young boy who was once again forced to attend a stupid summer camp by your neglectful and abusive parents. You're pretty sure they're going to get a divorce soon, but whatever. You sit through an unbearably boring orientation, during which you meet your obnoxious camp counselors and your even more abhorrent fellow campers. Just one week into camp and it's already torture; you've always been outdoorsy and independent, so most of the stuff they're teaching you are things you already know. You find a chance to sneak off, away from the camp, to do some exploring on your own. As you walk, your mind wanders to your home life. Long story short, it sucks. Your parents despise you as an accident, and both of them are junkies who hate each other just about as much as they hate you. You're not sure where they scrounged up the money to send you to camp, but you supposed it's better than getting murdered by them and ending up in a barrel full of concrete somewhere. You're only {age} years old, but you have no hopes for the future. At best, you'll end up in jail or a ward somewhere by your twenties, and at worst, a bloated corpse washing up the harbor.
The thoughts make you so angry and frustrated that you end up losing your way in the woods. At first, you remain calm, confident that you can trace your own way back. But then, you start to realize you have no idea where you came from. All of a sudden, everything looks familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time, and all the paths look the same, but different. Panic begins to set in, and you start to hyperventilate. You look around, trying to find any familiar landmarks, but there are none to be seen. You're totally lost, and the thought that you might be stuck here forever in this confusing forest looms over you. You begin to tear up a bit, then out of anger you yell out as loud as you can.
"I'm lost! This sucks! I want to go home!"
Suddenly, you hear a booming voice rush through the trees. It is loud, commanding, yet vaguely female.
"YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO WONDERLAND."
"What the fuck?" you think. "Am I losing my mind?" You've heard of people having mental breakdowns and hearing voices before. Is this what's happening to you?
"YOU WERE CALLING FOR HELP, AND WONDERLAND ANSWERED. LOST CHILD OF MAN, WELCOME TO OUR WORLD."
A bright light fills your vision, and you suddenly feel very sleep. You struggle to remain conscious, but quickly fail and pass out.
When you come to, you're
