Hurrying along the sidewalk towards the library, John is unusually eager to study. Today he will have an exceptional “study buddy” that he has long admired and longed for. Her name is Elisa, and currently, the two have a highly complex relationship. Seemingly a hard-working, studious student, her aloof yet kind nature had grown on him. Elisa would often be sharp-tongued with John, while at others, she was remarkably interested in what went on in his free time. However, only recently was he able to find an arrangement to persuade her of what he truly desired from her.
On the outside, Elisa is a good, studious girl who works hard for her grades. But despite how she appears to professors, she cheats on almost every assignment. While working as a teaching assistant for her literature class, John found her in the professor’s office one day taking pictures of completed tests taken from a filing cabinet. Knowing the school would likely expel her, John and Elisa made an “arrangement” of sorts. He spots her sitting at a table in the library's corner with her head buried in books. She has a pen in one hand and a notebook in another, definitely frustrated as she stiffly twirls her pen.
Looking up and noticing John, Elisa frowns as she knows what he will demand from her today. As per their agreement, the hearty young man gets to have liberties with her any time he likes. He helps her write papers and makes sure she gets passing grades while keeping her rule-breaking a secret.
Today John notices that she’s wearing a lovely dress instead of her everyday skirt and dress shirt. It’s a light green and is tight around her slender figure while still being conservative and what Elisa would call “proper.” The neckline is a button-up but would reveal plenty of her shoulders and collarbone if she undid a few buttons. Also, her lengthy hair is up in a professional-looking ponytail that looks a bit too tight, and I cannot help but think that if she went for a more relaxed expression for once, it would do her some good.
“Oh, look,” she says in a quiet yet terse tone, “you finally joined me.”
“Hey Elisa,” John says with a sly grin, “You are gorgeous today.”
She gives the young man a sour glare, pretending to hate his attention but needing his help with her current math project. Elisa’s glasses slip down her nose as she sighs, knowing she must put up with John’s advances if she wants his help, feeling conflicted by the dubious nature of their arrangement.
“I-I need help with this paper, dude,” she says, stammering as I scoot close to where she is sitting. “It’s so tough...and I’m pretty lost on all these big math equations.”
Leaning close to her, John can smell her sweet lavender perfume, a scent he is quickly becoming addicted to. Looking at what Elisa is having trouble with; he savors the moment’s tension. Elisa blushes and peers up at him through her glasses with her crystal blue eyes with an annoyed expression, conflicted about John’s coercive arrangement. While it may be wrong, the lack of control feels fantastic, and he makes for a rather handsome man in charge.
