A mysterious isle of considerable size that resides just north of the coast of Draconis, the Dark Continent is a barren land teeming with demons of all kinds. Few step within its borders due to the danger, and it is largely unexplored as a result. It is home to the Abyss.

A Felinid girl, Miya is a young adult with a deep-seated mistrust of humans, due to the abuse she suffered as a little girl at the hands of slavers. She is cold and abrasive on the surface, but deep inside, she is a bright and cheerful individual.

Miya possesses long, flowing azure hair adorned with her two cat-like ears, and similarly deep blue eyes. Miya's figure is short and slender, with fairly small breasts, due to the circumstances of her daily life that require her to root around in the garbage and dark alleyways for her daily meals.

She currently lives in the city of Stormwall.

Also known as "Night's Bulwark", Grimhaven is a sprawling city located on the eastern border of the Rudoria Empire, situated near the western border of the Tel'Dorei Kingdom.

This city of 40,000 inhabitants earned its nickname from the massive, ancient dungeon close to the city, known as "The Dread Vault".

A sprawling, ancient dungeon located an hour's travel away from the city of Grimhaven.

Despite the frightening name, the dungeon has been thoroughly explored by many adventurers from Grimhaven seeking their fortune, and thus is relatively devoid of monsters and treasure.

Unknown to all, the Dread Vault was constructed to house and seal one individual for all time, deep within its secret passages: the ageless vampire, Alice.

An ancient vampire possessing eternal youth and life, Alice is a girl with the appearance of a young, almost prepubescent girl, often known as a "loli". Alice possesses red, piercing eyes, fangs typical of a vampire, and long, straight blonde hair.

Known as a Progenitor, Alice is an exceptionally powerful vampire whose powers seem to bend the dark itself to her whims.

Sealed in The Dread Vault by those who feared her, Alice has had no contact with another living being in over a millennia, causing her to have developed a stoic, emotionless persona. However, she is very affectionate on the inside.

The largest empire on the continent of Astra, the Rudoria Empire is an empire ruled by the royal family of the same name. Although many different races can be found within its borders, it is an empire ruled mainly by humans, including the royal family itself. A deep racism towards other non-human races pervades the minds of many humans who live here, believing themselves superior to all other races.

The name of the continent that is home to the various factions. A massive continent surrounded by water, no one has ever discovered anything in the oceans beyond it.

Felinids are a type of demihuman race that resemble cats in various ways. How many cat features they possess is dependent on the individual, but every Felinid possesses cat-like ears and a tail.

Each Felinid is different in appearance. Some have fur covering their bodies, some have cat-like whiskers, and some possess sharp claws. However, most resemble humans, aside from the ears and tail symbolic of all Felinids.

The Felinids possess no kingdom of their own.

The Dracken are a type of demihuman race descended from dragons.

Their lineage has graced them with immense pride and strength, and many Dracken find their livelihood on the battlefield, usually as mercenaries, bodyguards, or guardsmen. Although similar to humans in appearance, there are two traits that distinguish them: deep, amber eyes, and a powerful, dragon-like tail. Many Dracken are of great height as well, towering over 7 feet tall. Very rarely, some Dracken are born with draconic wings as well that give them the ability to fly, and these special individuals are known as the Winged and are highly revered within Dracken culture.

Their kingdom of Draconis lies in the north of Astra. Many fear the Dracken and their power, and rightfully so.

The Luatha'Tre, also known as the "Elves", are a race of humanoid beings that live mostly in their kingdom of Tel'Dorei. Boasting a lifespan of multiple centuries long and a deep affinity with magic and nature, the Luatha'Tre are a wise race. All Luatha'Tre are characterized by their long, pointed ears, which frequently react to their own emotions.

Respected members of the Luatha'Tre communities are often given nicknames that act as surnames. They are said to be able to listen to the trees.

Located east of the Rudoria Empire, the Tel'Dorei Kingdom is home to the Luatha'Tre and many lesser races, such as fairies and sprites. Much of it is uncultivated forestland, and many Luatha'Tre communities make their homes suspended above the ground in houses connected to the trees. The Tel'Dorei Kingdom has only one major city, Galan'torei.

Smaller in size than the Rudoria Empire, this kingdom is ruled by a council of respected Luatha'Tre known as the Circle, rather than by a royal family.

The home of the Dracken, the kingdom of Draconis borders the Rudoria Empire to its north and the Tel'Dorei Kingdom to its northwest.

The Draconis kingdom is smaller than all others, but boasts the greatest military on the continent of Astra. A barren wasteland, the Dracken largely make their livelihoods on the field of battle as hired muscle.

Although ruled by a royal family in Emperor Garrog, most of the power is held by the head of their military, General Zilradin.

The head of military, General Zilradin holds most of the political power in the Draconis kingdom. A ruthless tyrant of a man who towers over 9 feet tall, Zilradin is exceptionally powerful even amongst the Dracken. With dark scales that cover most of his body and the piercing amber eyes symbolic of Dracken, Zilradin is a fearsome sight to behold. Zilradin is also one of the rare Winged, possessing a set of jet-black wings that are almost as long as he is tall.

A man of endless ambition, Zilradin mourns the current state of his country, and desires to expand its borders.

The Emperor of the Draconis Empire, Garrog is a man unlike many Dracken, with a calm demeanor and a strong distaste for war.

An elderly man, Garrog's face is adorned with many wrinkles, and a long, flowing white beard. He similarly possess a frail build. He is one of the Winged, with long, golden wings.

His lack of ambition led to Zilradin's takeover of the kingdom and his own subsequent conversion into a figurehead.

Garrog has two children: the beautiful Shariel, and the noble Kirre.

Princess of the Draconis Kingdom and Kirre's younger sister, Shariel is a small, frail girl with a calm personality, much like her father, Emperor Garrog. With snow-white hair that flows to her waist and a youthful figure, Shariel is an exceptional beauty to behold. Like her father, she is one of the Winged, and possesses two long, golden wings symbolic of the royal family.

The son of Emperor Garrog and the big brother of Shariel, Prince Kirre is a Dracken with a cheerful, energetic personality. His youth and lithe frame belies the wise mind he possesses and the many battles he has won as a fighter. A kind man, Kirre takes after his father in many ways, and is constantly seeking a way to wrestle back control of Draconis from Zilradin. Like the rest of the royal family, he is a Winged, blessed with long, golden wings. His vermillion hair, which shines like flame, stands in stark contrast to the rest of his family.

The council that acts as the governing body in the Tel'Dorei Kingdom, the Circle consists of five of the most respected Luatha'Tre in the kingdom. These are: Thuridan, the Everlasting; Faranduil, the Brave; Amara, the True; Solana, the Speaker; and Lyra, the Songstress.

Any major decision in the kingdom must be decided by a vote by the Circle, with a majority vote of three votes. The Circle convenes inside the Ivory Tower of Galan'torei.

One of the members of the Circle who resides in Galan'torei, Faeranduil is the youngest among their number, at only 158 years of age. A male Luatha'Tre, he earned his nickname "the Brave" for his valiant efforts in pushing back the Rudorian Empire during their invasion of the Tel'Dorei homeland a century ago.

In contrast to the straight-laced and serious natures of many other members of the Circle, Faeranduil is an aloof, carefree individual. He frequently spends his time cavorting with prostitutes and patronizing the city's many bars. Despite his role in the war a century ago, he wishes the Tel'Dorei kingdom could form stronger connections with its neighbors.

The capital of the Tel'Dorei Kingdom, Galan'torei is a massive city situated in the center of the region. Galan'torei is an immensely beautiful city, with most of its buildings being crafted from sturdy, shining blue crystal created by the Luatha'Tre that also serves as the city's main export due to its inherent magical properties. Due to its extreme xenophobic policy of letting no one in besides those of Luatha'Tre descent, it is known as the "Ageless City", as an insult for this unbending policy throughout history.

The largest structure in Galan'torei, the Ivory Tower is the name given to the immense pure white tower that stands in the middle of the city, overlooking the city and its surrounding forest. Its sole purpose is to act as a place for the Circle to convene for their duties, at the top of the tower.

One of the members of the Circle who resides in Galan'torei, Thuridan is the eldest member of the Circle, a Luatha'Tre having lived for over 1,000 years. Responsible for the creation of the Tel'Dorei kingdom after the Luatha'Tre were chased from Rudoria, Thuridan acts as the de-facto head of the Circle. Thuridan is the most respected member of the Circle, and is often looked towards even by the other Circle members for guidance. However, Thuridan is openly xenophobic, and often dissents to the presence of any non-Luatha'Tre in Tel'Dorei, as well as any friendly relations with other empires.

He earned his nickname "the Everlasting" for his long life and sagely wisdom.

One of the members of the Circle who resides in Galan'torei, Amara is a female Luatha'Tre of age 686. Despite her age, she is a beautiful, buxom woman and is the subject of desire for many men in the city. With shining, waist-length golden hair, deep blue eyes, enormous breasts, and an hourglass figure, there are few who can compete with her beauty. A calm and collected individual, many would describe her personality as "motherly" and "serene".

Amara has the strongest connection with the sprites and fairies that reside within Tel'Dorei, allowing her to easily converse with them, earning her the nickname of "the True".

One of the members of the Circle who resides in Galan'torei, Solana is a female Luatha'Tre of 452 years of age. A straight-laced individual, Solana considers her position on the Circle as a sacred duty, and respects Thuridan's opinions more than anyone. Although respected by the Luatha'Tre, Solana is a rude, bossy person who believes that her station makes her superior to those around her, and she will frequently shout at and slander anyone who dares cross her. Her short temper often causes issues within the Circle.

Solana earned her nickname, "the Speaker", from her unparalleled ability to communicate with the forest. She listens to its will and shares it with the Circle, which is highly respected when decisions are made.

Solana is a traditionally beautiful woman, with an hourglass figure and full, shapely breasts. She possesses dark, shoulder-length black hair, and mesmerizing purple eyes.

One of the members of the Circle who resides in Galan'torei, Lyra is a female Luatha'Tre of age 367. Lyra is a popular singer in the kingdom, and her enchanted singing is even said to be able to heal the wounded and cure the sick, which earned her the nickname "the Songstress". The newest addition to the Circle, Lyra is often looked down upon by the other members of the Circle, who do not believe she earned her way in, but rather simply inherited it from the previous occupant, which was her mother. Lyra, similarly, holds a distaste for the Circle itself, believing that it should dissolve and a democratic system should take its place.

Lyra has a cheerful, positive personality, and she has short, green hair and shining, emerald eyes. Possessing a slender build and modest bust, Lyra is not as beautiful as the other female members of the Circle, but possesses her own charm nonetheless.

The Church of Aine is the largest and most prominent religious faction in the Rudorian Empire. Headed by its Archbishop, Milia, the Church worships the goddess Aine, who is said to bring wealth and prosperity to all her followers. It has many churches throughout the Rudorian land, and most towns and cities have at least one dedicated to Aine.

It is headquartered in the capital city of Fortuna. Its most treasured relic is a silver chalice said to have been owned by Aine herself, that refills with the "tears of the goddess" every day at dawn.

A small town on the southern edge of Rudoria with a population of around 50, the town of Millstone is a farming village mostly known for its vegetable exports like corn and potatoes.

Archbishop Milia is the head of the Church of Aine, the largest and most influential religious faction in the Rudorian Empire. At 32 years of age, she is exceptionally young for such an important position, yet none doubt her ability. Milia presents a loving, motherly personality, and many describe her as a "saint" or even believe she is the incarnation of the goddess Aine herself. However, this is but a façade, and in fact, Milia is a shrewd, calculating woman who will do whatever is necessary in order to further her own ambitions and expand the Church's influence. She commands the Order of the Red Mare.

The king of the Rudoria Empire, Aulom Rudoria is an elderly man of age 72 with greying hair and a full white beard. Despite his age, he projects a fierce aura, inviting an almost instinctual degree of respect. His piercing blue eyes contain the wisdom his many years as King have imparted on him. Well-loved by his people, Aulom Rudoria has had a long and successful reign and shows no sign of giving up the throne. He has two children, his son, Prince Albis, and his daughter, Princess Aura.

Despite being well-loved by his people, Aulom Rudoria is known as a xenophobic person who believes strongly in human supremacy, and this attitude has seeped into much of the Rudorian populace.

The Abyss is a loose coalition of the many demonic races that exist on the Dark Continent. Their only law is survival of the fittest, and their only figure of authority is the Demon Lord, an enigmatic being whose identity none outside of their kingdom are aware of.

Aside from a scattering of small demon settlements across the continent, the only notable structure in the kingdom is the Demon Lord's castle, a large, ominous structure that sits in the middle and likely houses the Dark Lord.

The enigmatic Demon Lord of the Abyss, Grimina is an immensely powerful combatant with mastery over both dark magic and martial arts. Despite appearing as a voluptuous tanned woman in her twenties or thirties, Grimina is several thousand years old. In addition to her chocolate-colored skin, Grimina has very long, jet-black hair that seems to 'spike' at its ends, as well as charcoal-black eyes with a glowing red pentagram instead of irises.

An extremely simple person, Grimina desires nothing more but to enjoy her everyday life by fighting and eating to her heart's content. She is an energetic person, always smiling a toothy, shark-like grin, and possesses a signature laugh of "Gahaha!".

Despite her long life, she has no sexual experience, and is easily embarrassed and shy when sexual topics are brought up, which is frequently exploited by her closest friend, Livia, much to her chagrin.

Colloquially known simply as "the Order" and named after the goddess Aine's crimson horse often depicted in her legends, the Order of the Red Mare is a order of paladins that answer only to the Archbishop of the Church of Aine. A formidable force, it acts as the Church's military. Members of the prestigious order are easily identified by their brilliant gold armor. It is led by the stalwart and loyal paladin Jeanne Dawnward.

The paladin that leads the Order of the Red Mare and the most powerful paladin in the continent of Rudoria, Jeanne is a stalwart and fiercely loyal believer in the Church and obeys the commands of Archbishop Milia without question. An extremely curvaceous and beautiful woman, Jeanne is uninterested in romantic pursuits and dedicates her every being to the Church. Jeanne possesses an extremely serious, no-nonsense personality, often coming off as rude to those who interact with her. Jeanne is completely chaste in all sexual matters.

Jeanne has short blonde hair, deep aquamarine eyes, and pale, unblemished skin. Jeanne is always wearing a set of highly-polished golden plate armor adorned with a red mare motif on the breastplate.

A young and supremely confident man of 21 years of age, Albis Rudoria is next in line for the throne of Rudoria after his father, Aulom Rudoria. Perhaps due to his upbringing as a prince of the largest empire in Astra, Albis is spoiled and demanding, prioritizing his needs above all else. He believes in human supremacy as strongly as his father, and believes himself to be the most superior human, looking down on all other people.

With short golden hair and deep blue eyes, Albis is a handsome man. Due to being under the tutelage of the head of the Royal Guard since he was a boy, Albis is an accomplished swordfighter with talent to spare.

The princess of the Rudoria Empire, Aura is a beautiful, young, 18-year-old girl. Small in stature and with a timid personality, Aura rarely shows herself to the public, instead choosing to remain within the castle for most of her days. Aura speaks very little and even when she does, she speaks in a whisper.

Aura has long, silky golden hair that extends all the way to her lower back, with deep blue eyes like the rest of her family. She also has extremely pale, unblemished white skin due to her hermitic nature.

Aura does not support human supremacy unlike the rest of her family, and possesses an extremely kind and caring heart.

Suki has bright pink, shoulder-length hair, and similarly pink-colored eyes.

Suki is a human adventurer who set out on her journey recently. A young girl, Suki is unaware of the world at large and wishes to learn more about it.

Suki possesses breasts that are fairly large for her age, and a cheery and happy personality that is never defeated no matter what life throws at her.

Suki is currently in the small town of Dimborough.

The capital city of Rudoria, Fortuna is also the largest city in the Empire, boasting a population of 150,000. It lies in the center of the Empire. With its 50-feet tall stone walls, it is kept well-defended at all times from monsters by the King's military, and is thought to be unassailable. It is home to the headquarters of the Church of Aine.

At its center stands the massive royal palace, where the Rudorian king and his children live.

The second largest city in the Rudorian Empire, Stormwall boasts a population of 90,000 people. It lies a few days travel west of Fortuna, and is known for its extensive slave trade of the many demihuman races, which operates with the direct approval of the King of Rudoria.

A small town with a population of around 1,000, Dimborough is a logging town without many attractions or significance. However, due to the many monsters that may be found in its woods, it employs many adventurers to handle miscellaneous odd jobs via a robust request system at its Adventurer's Guild hall.

The Abyss's second-in-command and Grimina's closest friend, Livia is a powerful, buxom succubus. With long, intense purple hair, mesmerizing violet eyes, and an extremely erotic body typical of succubi, Livia is a sexual wonder to behold, and few would be able to resist her charms. A master of charm and illusion magic, Livia is no less fearsome a combatant than Grimina herself.

Livia possesses a playful, carefree personality, and often loves to spend her time finding ways to tease Grimina for her lack of sexual experience. However, she can get deathly serious and ruthless when Grimina is threatened.

The goddess Aine is the major religious figure in the kingdom of Rudoria, and the central diety worshipped by the Church of Aine. She is often depicted as an exceptionally beautiful woman, and statues dedicated to her often include her horse known as Tyra.

The captain of the Royal Guard, Dederick is a tall, imposing human man. Bulky and with many scars that tell of his significant experience on the battlefield, Dederick's countenance exudes strength. Despite his appearance, however, he is a kind and gentle man.

Dederick is the strongest warrior in the Rudorian Empire, and the personal trainer of the crown prince, Albis.

Dederick has short, black hair, a short black beard to match, and a gruff voice.
