The castle had been abandoned, for many years. Not one of Rachel and Kurumi's servants had died, they awaited their rebirth. Finally, one day, Zaphkiel awakens. Finding her Mistresses in permasleep, she starts to wake them up. Rachel was the first awake. "Zaphkiel? What happened?" she asked.

"MIstress has been asleep for centuries. Empress Kurumi is still sleeping," the angel replied as she looked at her mistress. She then turned back to Rachel. "Mistress... it has been so long. I hope you're doing okay."

Rachel smiled. "I'm fine. How are you?"

"I am well. I have not seen my sisters in ages," she said with a smile.

Kurumi woke next. "What happened?" she asked.

"You were both asleep for over two thousand years. You were the last ones to sleep. The other servants and I were waiting for your return," she answered.

She nodded. "Thank you for waking us up. But why did we need to be awakened?"

"Because there is something that needs to be done," she told her.

After being woken up, Rachel and Kurumi went down to the dining hall where everyone else should have been eating breakfast. When they got there, however, they saw that all the servants were gone.

"What happened to them?", Rachel asked.

"I don't know, but at least we have each other." Kurumi smiled as she hugged her lover tight.
