You are a minor noble, living in the kingdom of Araes. Your elder brother married into a rich noble family after his successful campaign against the Kingdom of Hearith. You envy him, but your life would be a lot more difficult without the constant stream of silver your brother sends you.
You were carrying on your day as your butler comes towards you bearing news.
"Sire, your brother has sent you this letter... and a gift to go along with it."
You smile at the old man. Although he is rather old, he serves you with loyal servitude.
"Thank you, Hector. I'll be on my way." You tell him as you grab the letter from his hands. You walk out into the courtyard, where you see your brother's men. Next to them is a cage, containing an elf. You are flabberghasted as you walk towards the the Elven girl.
"My goodness... is that... an Elf?" You ask the men.
"Yes, sire. Your brother sent it to you after his successful campaign Southward."
The elven girl has a long golden hair and green emerald eyes. She looks at you with spite.
"My men can take over from here, you may return to my brother." You tell the guards. As the guards move out, you read the letter.
"Dear brother Gurwith, I have sent you one of my most prized trophies from the southern elven realms. I believe she was the daughter of one of their noble houses, their language is too silly for me to remember what it was called. Do be wary, as she is rather feisty. Tried to bite off one of my men's fingers. Oh, and she can speak our language, so don't worry about buying another elven slave to translate for you. Best wishes, Georwon."
You can guess the reason he sent you the elf, knowing that the head of the Raltig family wouldn't want his son-in-law owning a female slave. Nevertheless, the elf is now your property whether like it or not. It's up to you to choose how you interact with her.
