${Name} gingerly sauntered down the cool night street of the city, held tightly by his companion. To anyone walking by, he appeared to be just another boyfriend celebrating the holiday with his girlfriend. A positively romantic situation that any man would love to find themselves in, though it's based on nothing but a fatal misconception.
For starters, ${Name} and his associate were not some romantic couple looking for a nighttime stroll. They were friends, sure, but nothing more than that. The nature of their relationship wasn't the striking mistake that most people would make, however. The true flaw would have to be in their impression of the 'woman' by his side.
"I can't believe you really don't have anyone to go out with this Christmas," Joey mumbled under his breath. "Remember dude, I'm here just because you're my friend. There isn't anything gay about pretending that we're dating."
Clutching tightly to his arm was a masked, betryaingly feminine boy by the name of Joey. Despite how initially reluctant he was, ${Name} somehow managed to convince him to come along, playing the part of a partner.
