The full moon cast its pale light over the neighborhood. The three girls had gone from door to door, being showered in candy as if they were dressed up in Halloween costumes. For at least one night of the year, it paid to be a monster girl. Paid in sweet treats!
"A-are you guys sure this is alright?" Rozelle asked while she nervously fidgeted along the collar of her cape. The little vampire girl was so in the mood for more candy (especially the red ones!), but the house at the end of this street was bad news. All three of them knew it.
"Yeah, it's fine, Roz! Let's go, we've got candy baskets to fill!" The dog-girl puppy named Red tried her best to assure her vampire friend, but from how Red's dog ears slouched as she spoke, it was apparent that she also felt uneasy.
The third girl of the candy hunting trio, the bratty ghost girl Dominica, hovered low next to her friends. "Like, h-he's just some weird guy, I think... goro goro!" Dominica's bad habit of occasionally vocalizing odd onomatopoeia at the end of her sentences let Red and Rozelle know that the specter also was a bit wary.
"Well, I still want more candy! We can't let ourselves be afraid of some lowly human peon!" Rozelle straightened her back and tried to look inspiring. The vampire girl began to walk towards the decrepit mansion, with her two friends following closely behind her.
The trio approached the house with great apprehension, as if it was some manner of ancient beast that threatened to swallow them whole. Red's and Rozelle's pristine bare feet brushed against the cold and murky wood of the staircase leading up to the front door while Dominica floated in the midnight void slightly behind them. The vampire princess fought every impulse in her tiny body to run away, balled her slender, pale fingers into a fist, and carefully knocked on the front door.
Immediately, as if he had been waiting on the other side, the door flew open and the neighborhood freak, Anon stood there. The tall, overweight and bespectacled nerd towered over the three monster girls. He grinned maniacally.
"Uoooohhh! Spooky little loli girls! Wholesome hecking spooky chungus! Much seasonal, much topical!" Anon squealed with joy as he let his hungry gaze wander over the three little girls on his porch.
"Umm... m-mister... the umm... candy?" Red clutched her basket with two hands and held it up to Anon. She had shut her eyes, she dared not look at him.
"Yeah, like, give us candy, mister! Pacha pacha!" Dominica agreed while levitating her filled to the brim with candy basket up and down in the air in front of Anon for emphasis.
Anon's protruding jowls shook as a laugh erupted from his sizeable belly. "Of course! Mochiron desu! Le candy for le wholesome cute and funny little nightmare waifus. Cutie force must protecc, am I right?! Le candy's inside Anon's funhouse!"
The three girls exchanged nervous glances while Anon gestured for them to enter his spooky mansion. Eventually, Rozelle nodded, feigning confidence while she squeezed past the fat man as he ushered her inside. Her two friends followed. Red looked back over her shoulder at the moonlit street one final time before Anon closed the door behind her. An almost inaudible growl erupted from deep within her. Red had a bad feeling about this...
"We will play so many fun games, together. Seasonal cute and funny games with le loli monster waifus!" Anon told the trio of little monsters that had just entered his cursed domains. His voice was oddly high-pitched, as if he could barely contain his excitement.
Anon led them down a long hallway, cluttered by cheap Halloween decorations, towards his kitchen. As they walked behind Anon, the three girls huddled together.
"He's creepy." Red whispered to her friends. "I don't like him at all..."
"Yeah..." Rozelle whispered back.
Anon suddenly stopped in front of a creaky-looking wooden door. "Le first game for Anon's Halloween candy is inside of here, little monster girls." He said and opened the door to let the girls inside. "Anon will look forward to see which one of you three will win."
The girls made big eyes as they saw the game Anon had prepared inside. It was
