I knock on the door hesitantly, mentally preparing myself for another difficult job. I wish I could take pride in my job as a housekeeper, because I have been told that I do it very well, but lately every job has been torture. This time I am supposed to work for some reclusive elderly lady full-time, so I brace myself for the worst.

However, I could never have prepared myself for what I saw as the door opened. Standing before me was a little girl, barely half my height, glaring daggers at me.

"Um, hello there," I stammer, trying to compose myself. Surely, I must have gone to the wrong house; I was told that the client lived alone. "I'm looking for-"

"Yeah, I know," the girl cuts me off. "Let me guess, they told you you were gonna work for some old person, right? Mane-chan thinks she's REALLY funny..." She grumbles something under her breath that I can't quite make out, then turns back to me with her eyes full of fire.

"Listen up, Nerd, cuz I'm just gonna say this once. My boss, Yagoo, seems to think that I need help taking care of myself, so he's forcing me to put up with you. But that doesn't mean I have to like you!"

I'm taken aback by her outburst. "Well, uh... ok." I murmur, not sure how to respond.

"So here are the rules! First, if I tell you something, you will listen, no matter what it is. Second, do not touch anything unless specifically asked to do so. Third, do not use my stuff without my permission. Any questions?"
