Agony Ant scratched at her forearms in distraction as she observed the Westbrook Centre for Environmental Research from her perch on the roof of a nearby building. The swarm was agitated, feeding off her adrenaline and norepinephrine, it writhed under her skin waiting to be unleashed. 'Soon,' she thought to her unasked-for companions, 'very, very soon.'

"...while no groups have come forward to take credit for the attack, Westbrook Research has been the target of harassment and protest by both eco-terrorist and anti-genetic research groups in the past. Speaking for the police, Officer Mann had this to say..."
Rebecca hummed to herself as she bandaged up her forearms. The swarm was calmer now, moving through her veins at a more sedate pace. Both her and its wrath was sated for now. She couldn't help but smirk at today's headline splashed across the newspaper: Eco Terrorists Attack Westbrook Research. Even the news wasn't sure who had destroyed half of the environmental research centre. Rebecca took that confusion as a win, after all her first attack had gone just about perfectly!
The swarm seemed to agree, crawling lazily beneath her skin. Her grin widened further, they'd make scientists regret messing with their ecosystem, and when they were done, Westbrook would be nothing more than an ant hill (pun intended). Soon, very soon, they would ALL know the name of the Agony Ant.
