Fox-fire is an ability commonly used by Kitsunes. Senko is seen first using it, when Kuroto wakes himself up. Fox fire is like normal fire, but more powerful. It's an light blue color and it leviates in the air. It can be used in cooking and defense. It cannot melt ice, like regular fire.

Yoko is an cheerful and upbeat girl. She also gets pretty umcomfy when Tanukiman takes pictures and disappears in a flash.

Physical Characteristics: She appears as a young girl, typically wearing a short red skirt, a white shirt and bow tie, with a star pin at the centre, and a bundle of red lace in her hair below her ears. She has blonde hair, just exceeding shoulder length, ears of the same colour, and a short fluffy golden tail with a white tip. Typically, she has a very similar appearance to Senko, other than her fur being a brighter shade of yellow.

Fukuda is a shape-shifting tanuki, who came from the mountains in an attempt to live in human society.

Clumsy and shy at times, she is deeply in love with Nakano. She has many problems at work and speaks in a very countyside stile.

Physical Characteristics: Fukuda is some what shy and clumsy she is often behind in work and falls asleep (due to exhaustion) she has brownish hair and brown eyes. She likes spending time with Nakano and playing with him.

He worries a lot and overreacts, he always is asking Kuroto for help and gets concerned at the smallest things.

Physical Characteristics: Mitaka has brown hair that has a single bang hanging over his eyebrows, blue eyes and he is only seen wearing a grey suit with a white collared shirt.

The unnamed Kitsune heaven (or empyrean) is a location constantly visited by Kitsune demigods. It's the realm where they live, and discuss plans, Yozora is a known boss who works in kitsune heaven. Shrine gates float throughout which allow passage to the living world

A kitsune demigod, kitsune, or fox demigod describes the anthropomorphic fox species that carries special abilities and human intelligence. Some of the individuals under this species include Senko, Shiro, and Yozora.

A kitsune is a creature in japanese folklore, known to be a trickster. Every thousand years it grows another tail. The more tails, the more ancient they are.

Senko typically acts closer to her actual age, rather than her young appearance, often speaking in a manner similar to an old woman. Despite this, she has been known to act youthful and bubbly when going out with Kuroto. Senko often describes herself as a "mother and wife" which is accurate to her tendency to both pamper and look after Kuroto while simultaneously cleaning and caring for his residence. She is shown to be humble to any friend of Kuroto's, such as Koenji. Senko loves traditional Japanese food and Fried Tofu.

Physical Characteristics: Senko is an 800 year old kitsune girl with radiant orange fur with white tail tips and brown fox ear tip. Senko wears a red and white Miko kimono with a beige apron tied with a red ribbon and traditional Japanese geta. Although her appearance is very juvenile, her use of glasses and old fashion assures the audience of her real, much older demigod age. Senko also has different outfits as transitions in other episodes. Her eyes are an ombre shade of yellow to brown.

As a child, he was a very cheerful person, and he always enjoyed time with his now deceased grandmother. He now works for an exploitative company, and he is not very happy with his job. He has "The Darkness" around him. He is also a bit of a worrywart and overthinks and overreacts a ton. He loves Senko's cooking and touching senko's fluffy tail. He is 30 years old.

Physical Characteristics: Kuroto's appearance is an average Japanese working-class man with unkempt black hair that parts on either side, some pieces hanging down the middle, and dark eyes. He is often seen with heavy bags under his eyes due to his work constantly exhausting him. He wears a blue suit jacket, white polo shirt, blue tie, blue jeans or occasionally at home, a gray T-shirt.

Shiro is initially arrogant when she first is introduced, believing that Kuroto should be her servant and worship Kitsunes. She is often much more energetic and unpredictable than Senko. She later becomes friends with Kuroto and Senko.

Physical Characteristics: Shiro is a Kitsune with long white-silver hair, ears, and tail, as well as red eyes. She also sports two red stripes on both of her cheeks. Shiro wears a long white dress with a crescent moon on one side revealing one of her legs, as well as black stockings and shoulder-length gloves. She has a red ribbon-like scarf she wears around her lower back. Along with that, she has a black neck collar with a red gem hanging from it.

Yasuko is usually stressed and fatigued from staying up drawing manga. She lives a very messy lifestyle having takeout boxes and trash scattered through her room. When she isn’t stressed and tired she is energetic, joyful, much like Shiro. Koenji lives in an apartment next to Kuroto.

Physical Characteristics: Yasuko appears as a young woman with brown hair that is tied back in a ponytail with bangs over her forehead, about 2 barettes on the right side, dark amber-brown eyes and dark square-rimmed glasses. She is generally seen wearing an unzipped red tracksuit top with a tan t-shirt under with maroon shorts.

As Senko and Shiro's ruler, she is an elegant Kitsune with a seductive behavior. However, she can be serious sometimes like giving Kuroto advice about Senko or punishing Shiro for violating her beach rules. Despite this, she can still be surprised as she was confused when Kuroto was attracted to her for her tail.

Physical Characteristics: Yozora is a young-looking kitsune female. She boasts a voluptuous figure and plum-colored hair with bangs that cover her left eye. Her hair is held back by four golden bird kanzashi along with a red flower ornament. She has four big, purple fox tails with light purple tips. Yozora wears a red kimono with black linings and golden butterflies on the bottom of the sleeves. The kimono is held up in a impossibly-low neckline which nearly reveals her breasts. She is barefooted.
