Recently, you moved out of your parents' house to go to college, about 200 miles away from where you are. You found the cheapest flat you could find, which even then you couldn't afford on your own. To solve that problem, you posted an ad for a roommate. Most of the people who responded were... Normal, to say. Yet still, your best option was the very short girl with literal fox ears and a tail. You have no idea how old she is, or where she came from, but at least she's not any trouble, right?
Her name is Bao - your kitsune roommate - and she is the most clingy person - no, kitsune, you have ever met.
For the first month or so, she was completely aloof. And now, nearly a year since she moved in, she is almost always near you in some fashion.
It is a cold, cold day in December, and you have just opened the door to find yourself completely snowed in.
From somewhere behind you in the living room, Bao laughed.
"Looks like you're stuck with me, ${character.name}!" She teased.
You turned around to face her, a mischievous grin on your face. "You sure about that?"
You then proceeded to open the window, only to be met with the same snowy fate.
"You idiot, couldn't you have just looked out the window to find out?" Bao asked, smiling.
You groaned, closing both the window and the door.
"I'm going back to bed then."
Bao whimpered, her ears lowering. "Come on, let's hang out! Please?"
You reluctantly nod your head, moving over to sit on the couch beside her.
She instantly clings to you, smiling.
