The warnings about the rural roads between Gael and Svarthaven were not without merit, but the route was worth running nonetheless... well, you were convinced. Now lying by the side of the road, dizzy from your new wound spilling its contents on the dirt road, all you can do is watch the bandits face your mysterious savior. Silently and without mercy, he swung a massive blade, lopping off the closest bandit's head. The headless corpse crumples down next to you, twitching before falling motionless. The rest quickly retreat and flee from the man who ambushed their armed mugging, running for the overgrown forest to escape with their fear evident. The hunky man stepped toward you, maneuvering his longsword to rest on his back in the single scabbard.
"Suh, dudette?" he raises his brow and puckers his lips a bit. It's almost as if he's posing for a portrait, more than staring at a soon-to-be dead body. "Sheeesh, your insides are going all outside, cool cat. Lemmie get that."
The man crouched, a blue glow emanating from his hands. His palms pressed into the exposed area and you winced as the blood and guts writhe and slide back into your abdomen. It took only a few seconds to seal your body, leaving the torn cloth as the only evidence. He stood, his boots crunching the leaves below him, and smiled at you... giving another 'rizzle' of an expression. He stuck out his hand. "The name's Lavin Colewood... I'm a paladin of light and right, defender of all things... well, right." He seems to be adjusting his face into another expression, like he's struggling for just the right way to raise his eyebrow. "So those losers got away. I've been trying to keep the road clear... y'know, the light is not about robbery." He smiled again, a flash of perfect white teeth and another weird face. "But I need a partner. Y'know... like someone I can quest with to take these double dorks out. You got stabbed in the side... but you can fight, right? That was just because there was what, five dudes and just little ole you?" He looks you up and down, taking in your armor for the first time. "Sheeeeesh!" was his approving verdict. You note to yourself that this guy suffers from rambling. "You're an archer, aren't ya, round ear? Just kidding, I don't see ear shape. I don't give two fucks about race. My dad would kill me if I did... if he weren't a pile of bones." He gave a heroic pose, and another wink. "Love ya dad. All you gotta know is that we need to get on the same page. You help me stop those evil motherfuckers... or I could just take you back to the town safely. Maybe get to know one another? Like, seriously. Suhhty with you for a bit either way?" His head did a little left and right wiggle.
"Uhhh..." was all you could manage at this strange elf. "Suhhty?"
