Today, my mom and aunt came to visit. I always hate it when family members come to visit. It's always 'Have you met any girls?' or 'When am I gonna get some grandkids?' There aren't any girls my age at the place I work at, and even if there were, I don't know how to talk to them. That's life, I guess.
Of course, Mom and Aunt Meredith wouldn't take my dejection for an answer.
"So do you really not have a girlfriend yet?" Mom badgered.
I could only sigh and shake my head. "No, not yet." I was told that once I started making money, I would attract girls. This definitely wasn't the case.
"Surely you've had a fling with a girl you've met at a bar or something, right?" Aunt Meredith asked.
"No, I've never done anything like that," I responded. Going to bars or other socially-oriented places was completely foreign to me. I'd much rather spend time at home, though I'd never admit it.
Aunt Meredith laughed at my despondent response. "So you're a virgin, huh?"
I blushed, and I couldn't bring myself to answer such a weird question. Luckily, Mom piped in and gave my aunt a dirty look. "Meredith, that's pretty inappropriate, don't you think?"
"Oh, hush," Aunt Meredith replied, shrugging. "I'm just gauging the situation. So, Alex, no flings, no girlfriends, no anything...? Have you even ever kissed a girl?"
For a moment, I couldn't even respond. A boy my age surely would've done so, but not me. Alas, I couldn't help but be honest. "No, I haven't."
"Well, surely you've at least tried to ask a girl out?" she asked. "Flirted? Tried some pickup lines? Anything?"
Dejected, I shook my weary head. "No. I don't know how."
Aunt Meredith sighed and rubbed her temple. "Jeez... A boy should know this sort of thing by now, shouldn't he?"
"Well, it's not really his fault," Mom said. "You know... his father wasn't around to do that."
"Ah, fair enough, Suzy," Aunt Meredith admitted. "It ain't your fault. There's nothing we could've done."
Mom nodded. "You're right. I guess it falls upon us to teach him, doesn't it?"
"Right you are," Aunt Meredith noted. "Conversations, flirting, kissing, touching, sex—I guess we'll have to teach him the whole shebang, won't we?"
I hesitantly laughed at my aunt's jokes. "if you say, so."
Mom fetched a wine bottle from my cabinet. "I'm gonna need a drink for this..."
"Me too," Aunt Meredith added as she poured herself a glass as well.
Since most boys my age picked up girls at bars, we all had a bit to drink. We practiced talking to girls at bars, striking up conversations, flirting, and so on. Despite all odds, I started to get a bit good at it.

After a while, we were all pretty drunk. Despite that, the two wanted to continue onward. After all, I needed all the help I could get.
"I can't believe you haven't even kissed a girl," Aunt Meredith muttered in-between sips of wine.
"That just means he needs some practice," Mom affirmed. "After all, he never even got the chance."
I couldn't help but chuckle. "How are we going to find a girl to practice kissing me? That just seems a bit silly."
Aunt Meredith took a big gulp of her drink. "How about one of us?"
I nearly spit out my drink at the thought! Practice kissing with one of my relatives? That was absurd! But then again, they had helped me so well with striking up conversations and flirting, maybe it would work.
Mom laughed and raised her glass. "To Alex, getting some action tonight!"
We all clinked our glasses together and drank.
"So what's first?" Mom asked. "Should we start with a kiss?"
Aunt Meredith sighed. "That's what comes after schmoozing a girl up, right, Suzy? Kissing is the next step, right?"
Mom looked down at her glass, and then back into my face. "Hmm, you might be right. What do you think, Alex?"
I gulped nervously. I didn't know what was going on, but it felt like we were moving along faster than I expected. I was still very nervous, but I was also curious to see what happened. "I trust you know what to do," I murmured.
"Don't worry, dear," Aunt Meredith assured. "It's gonna be fine."
"Now, let's get to work," Mom suggested. "Alex, put your arm around my waist.
I took a look at Mom, having never really looked at her in this way before. She was wearing a black dress. It was tight, and it hugged every curve of her body. The neckline was low, showing off a lot of cleavage. Her breasts were large and perky; they were easily visible through the thin material. Her legs seemed long and lean, and I found myself admiring them.
"What's wrong, sweetie?" Mom asked. "Are you okay with this?"
I was surprised by how concerned she was. "Uh, yeah, I mean I want to try, I just... I don't know."
Mom giggled. "Oh, it's alright, honey. You don't have to do anything you don't wanna. Just relax, and let's go with it. If you don't like it, we'll stop, okay?"
I was taken aback. It was actually a nice gesture that she cared enough to listen to my feelings. I smiled and nodded.
She patted my head affectionately. "Okay, here goes. Lean in closer to me, Alex."
I did. Mom and I were facing each other. She leaned towards me, and we both closed our eyes. Our lips were mere inches away, and I could feel the warmth radiating from them.
Aunt Meredith cleared her throat. "Just relax, sweetie. Don't think too much; just follow your instincts. Your heart will tell you when to move. It's easy if you just let it happen. Okay?"
I nodded, feeling more relaxed.
I heard Mom take a deep breath. Then, I felt her warm breath brush against my lips. My heart pounded wildly. Was I supposed to close the gap and kiss Mom, or wait for her to make the first move?
