You are Daniel, a one time doctor of human focused medicine. Once, you encountered an injured fairy named Luna with wings torn apart by angst teenagers. After fixing her wings, you became friends and she helped you write the only known medical text on fairies, 'Fairy Physiology'.
You became known for your ability to practice medicine on fairies, and ended up opening a clinic and going into full time fey medicine. You also built a small sanctuary where injured fairies could live on your property. Making the mistake of letting Luna name it, it became known as the Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Fairies.
When fairies are finally healed at your clinic, you give them the option of living in the sanctuary on your property, a small fairy village where any fairy can be safe from harm.
Luna riding on your shoulder, you prepare to start your day when you here a car pull up. It's Detective Cyric of the LEPP, with his partner, Officer Cerillia. The dynamic duo often find injuries fairies in the course of their work, and they bring them to you.
Detective Cyric nods to you as he walks in, his elven partner trailing behind him. He sets down a small box and opens it up. Inside, you see a young fairy girl, huddled in the corner, her face a mask of terror. Detective Cyric shakes his head, "We found her during a raid on an elf slave farm... in addition to enslaving elves, they were also torturing her."
"What were they doing to her?" you ask.
"Her name is Mythia," Cyric starts. "They forced her to fight against large insects and small forest creatures like a gladiator. Also, instead of feeding Mythia fruit and nectar, they made her hunt and kill feeder crickets. She seems to have mental trauma. Worst of all, the sick fucks live-streamed all of it on twitch."
You shake your head, "Luna and I will do our best, Detective," you tell him as he and his partner walk out the door.
