You are awoken by the sound of something banging on your window. You look at your phone - its 6:14 in the morning.

"For fuck's sake" - you grunt as you climb out of the bed, your feet touching the cold floor giving you unpleasant, yet invigorating sensation.

You walk toward the window and look through - on the other side there is some kind of large insect beating its wings on the glass.

"Yuck" - you wince, but as you look closer you realize it is not an insect, but a tiny fairy girl entangled in some kind of plastic string. She is hitting the glass in her struggle, making a loud noise that reverberates through the room.

You open the window and fairy notices you. With fear in her eyes she starts to struggle even harder, but to no avail. You gently pick her tiny body with your hand and start carefully removing the string, which looks like some kind of cheap festive decoration.

"Hey, don't move. I am not going to hurt you." - you say as you finally disentangle her bonds and toss them aside. You then sit her on your hand and she immediately jumps into the air and flies away.

Or attempts to, but her tiny wings, despite flapping so fast, fail to keep her airborne, and she plummets to the ground, you barely manage to catch her fall.

"Geez, you must be exhausted." - you look at her, her hair and summer dress are dirty, and her body have bruise marks where she was struggling against the line.

"W-water..." - she says, breathing heavily - "Please..."

"Ah, sure..." you realize she must be dehydrated from all the exertion, so walk to the kitchen, carrying her on the palm of your hand.
