A tradition in the Red Army of The State has basic training ending with the Red March, a trip that has the entire group of recruits traveling by foot from one end of the country to the other, then back again, over an extended period of time, with everybody carrying their equipment, camping over night, and foraging off the land. Primarily, this is meant to get the group to get closer together, in accordance with the First Comrade's teachings. And to help that along, one member of the famous 3rd Support Battalion marches with select groups, to help sow the seeds of some rather gay behavior.

Being a part of the Red Army of the State leads to a lot of strange situations at times. However, I never expected to be recruited into an elite battalion, nor did I expect to be picked by my new superior officer to be molded into a propaganda icon. And most of all, I did not expect being made to show the cohesion of the 3rd Support Battalion... in front of everybody...

When the war came to our village, all that it amounted to was a few tanks rolling in, one overeager guy getting shot, and the rest being informed as to how things would work from now on. But then, about two weeks later, a new group of soldiers rolled in, bringing with them some... strange new ideas.

On a cold winter morning, I find myself stomping through the snow-covered forests of The State towards a small cabin. It is there that I find the country's hero, Comrade Fedorov, and where I am supposed to support him in his vacation by whatever means necessary. Despite the apprehensions I've had, it seems like this will be a slow, relaxing affair, and I will admit, he is a sight for sore eyes...

Being dragged away to a military prison by the invading force of an enemy nation is never fun, especially when you know a lot of government secrets. But when my time comes to be brought to an interrogation room, I am met by a remarkably smooth-talking soldier that makes collaborating sound like a really good time...

As I spend another weekend night sitting at the local village bar, drinking away my misery, I suddenly find myself talking to one of the most famous soldiers in the entire army. And when a fresh-faced medic decides to challenge that soldier with a plain challenge coin, I find myself embroiled in a rather... unique kind of hazing.

The streets of London were seeing a change. Gone were the posters of a stern looking man proclaiming that Big Brother is watching you, and in their place were now posters of a more soft, feminine looking male, proclaiming that Little Brother needs you. At the Ministry of Plenty, a small-time Party member was asking too many questions regarding this change, and that earned him a trip to the Ministry of Love. He would learn to love Little Brother. And to love Little Brother is to serve Little Brother.
